Things To Do In Seattle

Light My Fire: Best Grilling in the City

Summer is here and that means it's grillin' time. Whether you want someone else to cook it for you, (or at least do the prep, a la Korean barbecue), or if you're into being involved in every step from choosing the perfect outdoor spot to flipping each burger, we've got you covered. So get out there and start fanning those flames!

Spring And Summer Biking Guide

With the sun starting to show itself more and more, it’s time to break out the tight spandex and brightly colored riding outfits, helmets and hydration packs. It’s time to go for a bike ride. And no place is more into the bike culture than right here in Seattle. So if you are new to the game or a seasoned pro, here are a few places to gear up and get out there.

New Places to Dance

Love to dance but tired of the same old scene at Trinity and Neighbours? Grab a headband or pull on some western boots and check out a different scene. From the 1880s to the 1980s, we've got five in-city alternatives to overpacked dance clubs.

Pizza Party

In an effort to determine pizza delivery superiority, we here at Citysearch decided that there was but one way to determine a victor: an old-fashioned race. So we ordered five pizzas at the same time, all to the same address on Queen Anne. Then we proceeded to round up a crew of our friends and conduct a blind taste test. Since Seattle is a vegetarian sort of town (and because two people in our party didn't eat meat), we decided to make it fair and order only veggie pies. Who showed up first? And which pizza was declared the victor?

Seattle's Best Chocolate

You can deny yourself chocolate, but why would you want to? Considering it's an aphrodisiac that can lower blood pressure, it's hardly a vice worth kicking. The next time you indulge in life's simple gift of the cocoa bean, try one of these fabulous local brands and remember--you've got one less thing to feel guilty about.
