Bellevue >California Pizza Kitchen
Way Overpriced. Mediocre food. Save $$ and buy their frozen pizzas..
My girlfriend and I decided to eat here after a nice walk around downtown Bellevue. The service was great, but everything was SERIOUSLY overpriced. The food was sub-par. My pizza didn't even seem cooked enough.(Ordered the shrimp scampi pizza) Ive purchased their frozen pizzas at the store and they were half the price for the same size. (I swear it tasted better out of the box)
Drinks were weak and overpriced.
I make enough money to eat out wherever I want, but seriously... I would rather save $20 and eat good food somewhere else, rather than shell out $50 for mediocre.
(I did see some families having fun, but clearly they could care less about the cost or the quality of food...There is definitely a snob factor going on)
Watch your pie bake in a wood-fired oven at this national chain with global culinary influences..
Founded in Beverly Hills in 1985, these eateries with the trademark yellow, black and white color scheme have spread nationwide. The decor consists of simple wood and glass with roomy black leather booths. The thin-crust pizzas come with innovative toppings from Asia, Latin America and the Southwest; signature pizzas like the Original BBQ Chicken and Jamaican Jerk Chicken compete with old standbys like pepperoni and traditional cheese. Pastas, salads, soups and sandwiches round out the menu.
Great Pizza.. This is a nice place for tasty pizza and for lunch/fun with your kids on a sunny day. Sit at the patio. My son and I love to go there on Saturdays...
Best Pasta and Pizza! Avoid Friday and Saturday nights. I have been a customer since I was a high school student. there service significantly improved when cheesecake factory opened. Try chinese chicken salad, BBQ pizza and fettucini with alfredo garlic cream sauce!!
Tasty and diverse pizza selection. CPK is a great place to eat for a night out with friends - the atmosphere is casual and the food is gourmet though not elegant. During busy hours, you might have to wait a bit for your meal so try and beat the rush.
Good bbq chicken pizza. The wait is long, but the pizza is good.I really love their bbq chicken..it's so yummy. I also like their cheese pizza. The pizza is gourmet, so it's kind of expensive for pizza, but I think its worth it. Also, the service is great.
Pizza from afar and your regular favorites too.. Located in the heart of downtown Bellevue, California Pizza Kitchen was relatively easy to find. The restaurant is a bit undersized, but the food easily makes up for it. I can see why there was a bit of a wait (25 min).
L O N G W A I T. Was out and about with a friend today and we decided to eat at CPK. I've been here many times for lunch, but always arrived early. Today we arrived at 12:45 p.m. and had a 45 minute wait. Luckily, the weather was good and we sat outside by the fountain. Once seated, we both ordered a cup of tortilla soup and a half salad. My friend ordered the BBQ chicken salad and I had the bacon and gorgonzola salad. Salads were really good - better than the soup. Service was super.
Eat here, you'll love it.. Three years ago I went to CPK and the waitress spilled my soda on my lap. The manager apologized, even though it wan't that big of a deal, and gave me certificates for 2 dree dinners, not to mention my hwole party dnid't have to pay that night. The service has not changed. Last night we were greeted by the manager, and he came by periodicaly to see if all the guests were enjoying themselves. Oh yeah, the pizza is HEAVENLY! Order the California Club.
