Perhaps Why Reviews are Love it/Hate it. My husband has eaten their pulled pork sammies here a few times and liked it. Last night, we went there for their all you can eat beef ribs. The first plate of 3 ribs came out. I bit into it and I was in heaven! The meat was literally falling off the bone, the color was a perfect cooked pink on the inside, the fat was a bit crackly, there was enough meat on the bone to satisfy, and the medium sauce was very good. My husband and I then asked for a couple more ribs. Our second helping was sad. The meat was dry, tough, and the sad brown color of overcooked meat. I had to break out the silverware and cut it off the bone. I jokingly said, this must be their way of saying stop eating more ribs even though it's all you can eat. The disparity between the two helpings is perhaps why some people have hated this bbq and others have raved about it - depends on the luck of the draw. I would HIGHLY recommend to the owners they get their game on with consistency. That first serving would have kept me coming in regularly and recommending it to all my friends. That second helping made me question if I would get good ribs or not and no one wants to gamble with their food, especially at the price point of bbq.

The sides were not tasty, but I wouldn't care if the bbq was good. Make it consistent and you'll have a new loyal customer!

Best BBQ on The East Side. I went to 3 Pigs BBQ for lunch. The place was packed and the line was long, but seemed to be moving fast, so I stayed. Sure glad I did. I ordered The Boss Hog sandwich with pork and hotlink. It came with a choice of side order I got cole slaw. The pork was smokey and tender and the hotlink had just the right amount of spice. The cole slaw was freash and flavorful. All and all it was really really good!! Some of the best BBQ I have ever had.If you like good BBQ you have got to try 3 Pigs!

Best BBQ in Washington State!. Recently, I ate at 3 Pigs barbeque and it was fantastic. I was greeted by a friendly staff and fun atmosphere. The food was fantastic. I ordered the pork sandwich and it was perfectly cooked. The meat was tender and full of flavor. I topped off the meal with a side of beans and a side of chili. Yummy! This is my favorite place to eat, hands down! Can't wait to go back and try the hot link sandwich. I would recommend 3 pigs to all of my family and friends!!!

RAW PORK - Is it legal to serve in the US?. RAW PORK? Let me start by saying I've had my fair share of BBQ having spent many years living in the South, but never in my 30 years of eating BBQ have I been sold such a poor product. I bought 2 lbs of BBQ pork to-go along with fixins for the family ($71 out the door) only to get home and discover the pork was raw. As to not exaggerate here... not all 2 lbs of meat was raw, but there were enough raw pieces we could not feasibly salvage the meal.

I called 3 Pigs Barbecue and was instructed by the Owner to bring the dish back for him to have a look. When I arrived back at 3 Pigs the Owner was waiting for me at the door. He wanted to have the conversation outside on the sidewalk but instead, I walked into the restaurant and placed the food on the counter (only seems fair since I bought it from the counter and not the sidewalk). From the time I arrived, he said repeatedly , "I cooked it myself, it can't be raw.. I'm the Owner" over and over again. I opened the container for his viewing...and for a minute there.. I thought he was going to apologize and set things right... no such luck. Instead, he became angry and asked me to leave. So, I left quietly with No credit, No refund, and No fully cooked meal in hand. I’ll dispute the charge through my credit card company so no big deal there...but what a JERK!.

All-in-all, If you are into RAW PORK smothered with BBQ sauce, this is place for you - or perhaps the Safeway meat counter would be a better value.

awesome.. people: so nice and so endearing. it's like your sweet, southern grandson is serving you lunch and just wants you to be happy. i'm 37, so it's how i'm picturing my future grandson. and generous! the gentleman who helped us-turned out to be one of the owners, such an unassuming, bright eyed lad- gave us 2 bottles of their bbq sauce before we left. this is someone who clearly cares about his customers but doesn't care about your zip code or how much you have in your bank account. seriously-his good ju-ju alone made me think he just might be santa.

sauce: OHMYGODITSSOGOODYOUCOULDDRINKIT. seriously. i'm a bit of a sauce snob, and this is a perfect balance of sweet, smoky, tangy and spicy. so good. and the consistency is spot-on. also, they put it on after making the meat, so you get to taste them separately. so important in my book.

meat: i had pork, and it was to die for: smoky, lean (yeah, i know...it's pork. but it didn't have the same chunks of fat you often find in bbq, without sacrificing moistness.) is moistness a word? anyway...

seating: it was crowded, but looking around at the people i thought that said good things of the joint. that it was a steady stream of people from all walks of life who clearly came out of their way (to my mind it's not exactly on the beaten path) to eat there meant this is either good food, good people, or both.

it was both. and they serve beer, so i found the holy trinity.

please go to 2 pigs bbq, and find the harrell brothers bbq sauce at your local qvc. but better yet, have them cater your event. thier meat will taste better than yours, will be at a decent price, and you get to take credit for providing awesomeness to someone's day. win-win-win.
