The Scene – Opened in 1958, Chaces is a small, one-story building whose plain exterior has been prettified by loads of hanging flowers. Inside, homey comfort rules. Ceiling fans, golf towels from around the world, Husky helmets (during football season) and family photos (including one of owner Bill Chace as a Husky crew member in 1932), serve as decor. Service is home-style and hospitable. – – The Food – The menu lists eight egg dishes, four waffles and eight pancakes, plus burgers and sandwiches for lunch. If u don't like the Pancakes, get the hashbrown omlet. That is one of the best breakfast meals I have ever had. Mad love to Chaces.
Don't waste your time

The only positive comment I can make about this place is that we went there before the crowd and didn't have to wait. I don't mind the decor, but the pancakes were flat, flavorless and dry. There was absolutely nothing memorable about the food - and if you dare to name yourself 'pancake corral' they better be memorable. I paid $3.50 for a medium glass of Minute Maid orange juice and was highly dissapointed with the whole experience.
- Pros: Small - so you get your food fast
- Cons: Nothing memorable about the pancakes
