Overpriced, mediocre food. Nice room to eat in, but who cares if the food is boring, luke warm, and unimaginative? Portends to be "classic" Italian, but adequate at best. Vastly overpriced too. Much better Italian in Seattle or Kirkland.

salute is just about the most quaint and charming italian restaurant in seattle. my first visit was a couple weeks ago and i feel in love. we were waited on by the owner himself. we asked him for a wine recommendation - he suggested a fabulous italian bottle. we were there until past closing and never felt rushed to leave. i can't wait until summer so that i can try out their patio!
