The Scene – Convenience and nostalgia piled on a bun and smothered in secret sauce. Baby-boomers bring their kids (and grandkids) to experience that car-service drive-in chain of yore that they've heard about, but probably thought expired in the Jurassic era. Sure, this version lacks the roller skates, but the window-mounted trays fit as well on the door of an SUV as they did on Grandpa's old Buick. – – The Food – Burgers, fries and apple pies are all worth munching--as is the berry shake so thick a spoon stands up in it with ease. Crispy fries and batter-dipped…

- Know Before You Go:
- University Village and Holman Road locations do not offer drive-in service.
Unbelievable

I have been going to Burgermaster for years now. However, I was extremely disappointed the last time I was there. I waited for over 15 minutes until a server finally approached me. On top of that, there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. A server walked past my car several times, but didn't bother to approach me and tell me that they would be with me in a little while. Another car had been there before me because his lights were still on when I got there. After many failed attempts, he left without eating. I was pretty irritated because that was the worst service I had ever had at Burgermaster. Usually they are pretty good about attending to people who are ready to order in a timely manner. I know I won't be going back to that Burgermaster.
- Cons: long wait time when there were very few cars
One of the best burgers in town.

The burgers are just so juicy and greasy. I love it. A burger is not meant to be dry and overcooked -- and you'll get none of that here. You can pretty much eat it without chewing.
- Pros: Juicy, Greasy, Cheesy, Mmmm
- Cons: Parking, Crowded at lunch time
I LOVE Burgermaster!!

Best burgers, fries and shakes in the greater Seattle area! All (well, almost) the waiters are really nice, too. :)

decent burgers, bad service

I am from Cal and grew up with IN-AND-OUT burgers (THE best in the world.) and was happy to find Burgermaster when I moved up here. BM is the best of the rest, not awesome but surely the best you can get in the Pacific NW.
BUT: Sometimes, the service is questionable at best, probably because of the temperatures, the waiters have to endure during winter months AND food quality is very inconsistent: every other time I go there (once-twice a week) fries are overdone or the burger is just a sloppy ugly something. Today (and thats the reason why I am writing) my burger came with onions and the meat!!! NO TOMATO, no nothing!!! OMG!
Up here, I would still recommend it to people who just cannot resist burgers but I also recommend improving management/service.
- Pros: decent food at lowish price, easy access
- Cons: inconsistent quality, occasionally impolite service
