best!. It is undoubtedly the best BBQ in the great Northwest! You will not find any better! And if you think youre a real man, ask for THE MAN!

Easy with "The Man" sauce!. This place is great! I lived in South Carolina and since moving back to the Pacific NW I have missed southern cooking but not anymore! Dixie BBQ is authentic 100% from the sweet tea to the bbq pork sandwich to "The Man" himself. I do feel the need to warn hot sauce novice's to watch out for 'The Man" sauce. I consider myself to be a hot sauce aficianado and there is only one sauce that is hotter than "The Man" sauce. If you can eat jalepenos by the handfull spread this stuff all over! Make sure to have a nice tall glass of sweet tea standing by. It's the only thing that will put out the fire!

Straight from the South. I love the food, especially the sides of beans and corn bread. You know it's good when you see the long lines outside on rainy days. The owners are entertaining and it's fun to watch people try to meet "The Man".

Best southern style BBQ in town. Everything tastes like it was cooked under wet canvas for 10 hours - which means great, falling off the bone. Yeah it's soft and greasy, so what? That's a style issue, and that shouldn't affect the rating. The pork ribs are outstanding, none better I am aware of, the brisket is first class, but the baby backs (when offered) do not match 3 Pigs. Neither does the sauce, but it holds its own. On the other hand, the corn bread is outstanding and the lemon cake is in a class all by itself, 3 Pigs should take lessons in that regard. Beans and rice are standard sides, very good, and a welcome change from the standard bbq beans. Most business is done at lunch, so if you want takeout dinner get there well before 5. Sometimes they just get tired and shut down. Get the combo meal and pig out.

Just plain BAD!. BBQ???!!!! This "Man" doesn't know the meaning of BBQ. His tomato laden grissle atop a mushy hot dog is enough to turn anyones stomach! No wonder he has to make his sauce so hot, it has to hide the taste of some BAD BBQ.

gotta love tha MAN. Well if you go there, and after you do you will continue to go there just try the MAN once, cause they will keep on naggin you to try it. But that is the fun part the family that works it. The MAN is hot, but the rest of the food is great for lunch. Hell it is even in Safeco Field.

Hot hot hot. Damn, that's some hot sauce. I saw a co-worker actually turn purple and start running around looking desperately for water. Be sparing with "The Man."
