Carrie is Fabulous-New Owners. So after reading some great reviews I called to make an appointment, to my surprise when i called they answered the phone Stan Parente Salon (formerly Salon JBU) Evidently the salon is under new ownership either way it is a beautiful salon. They were very helpful in helping me decide which stylist to see and boy did I luck out, I have finally found my stylist, Carrie was awesome, she was so patient and gave me the BEST haircut and foil I have ever had. I have gotten more compliments on my hair in the last 3 weeks than i ever have in my entire life.

Also the salon was super clean and everyone there was so nice and inviting so THANK YOU Stan Parente Salon for making my hair look soooo good.

Best Haircut. Gwendolyn gave me the best haircut I've had in years. Everyone in my office has been going to her for years and though I've heard of her over the years I paid no attention. I have got to be the pickiest person when it comes to hair. I started coming to Gwen after my last hairdresser retired. I should have gone in to see her sooner!! The cut not only has lasted pass eight weeks the style is so much better on me, all the compliments I have been getting has been almost embarrassing! She only cuts hair so she's very good and very fast too. Parking is tight during lunch time.

best hair stylist is OANA-Understanding too.. I was afraid to have my long hair cut until I saw this adorable stylist-OANA-who also has long hair...I said to myself, "I bet she understands how I feel!" And you know what...she really did. My hair remained long but with a lot of style, plus the scalp massage she gives is amazing. When I got home, my husband said that I looked GREAT. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Ask for Oana if you want the hottest look! She is the best!. I had been to about 5 stylists in the last 5 years until I finally found Oana. She was at a different salon at the time and when she told me she was leaving, I told her I'd follow her anywhere! I love the new salon JBU she's part of now. It's very relaxing, sophisticated and in a perfect Bellevue location. Oana is truely an artist at what she does - she makes magic happen!

Homeira is the stylist to go to!!!. Homeira has been my stylist since 2006. She does an AMAZING job at coloring, highlighting, cutting and styling my hair. Having a beautiful person do your hair is key...she's drop dead gorgeous (you know she does a great job because she looks great)! I have referred my sisters, friends and mother to Homeira and they have been going to her ever since. I will never switch stylist because I have found the one. Pay her a visit and you won't regret it.

Bellevue's Best Salon! (and stylist). Well I thought it was going to take forever to find a stylist that I liked. I searched salons in bellevue and found Salon JBU. They have a really cute website, and I called to make an appointment with Megan. Well I finally found my stylist!!!! Megan is great, she gave me the best highlights and haircut I have ever had!!! Megan gave me exactly what I wanted and was very sweet! Shes a great stylist and I cant wait to go back!

Thank you Cathy Koyama!. After searching the Internet for a Top Rated Hair Salon, I found Salon JBU. I called and was able to get an appointment with Cathy that afternoon. What a great experience. Not only is Cathy beautiful, vivacious and smart, she's a very talented Stylist. I love my new hair cut and It's exactly what I was looking for. I can't say I've been this thrilled about a haircut for a very long time.

What a talented lady!. Salon JBU is an attractive and welcoming salon, very close to the downtown core, with parking on-site. Cathy has been cutting my hair for years and I love her discerning eye, her wonderful talents as a stylist, and how she knows what will and what won't work for me and my hair.

As a senior I'm not too concerned with being mod or funky, I just want the soft lines of a great cut that flatters my face and and I don't want it to take much product or work on my part. Cathy is the magician who pulls this all together for me, and she does it with much personal charm and grace. I always exit smiling and feeling good about myself.

Outstanding Hairstylist!. Im a client of Megan's at Salon JBU and I just love her! She does a great job with my haircuts and my color and always knows what products to recommend to me so I can style my hair at home! Thanks Megan, I love my hair!!

Cathy Koyama Works Wonders!!!. I cut my long hair off and donated it few months ago, and I knew Cathy was the only one for the job. Haircuts were not common when I had such long hair. I've lived in Washington for three years now, and I had only gotten my hair cut twice. I met Cathy through relatives who go to her for haircuts. My sister, brother-in-law, niece, and two nephews all go to Cathy for haircuts and would not have it any other way. They have followed her for four years wherever she goes. With that in mind, I knew I had to go to Cathy when I decided to cut my hair off. I did some research online to find her on my own (I didn't want to ask my sister because I wanted it to be a surprise). I called Cathy the same day I wanted to get a haircut. She was able to put time aside to color and cut my hair before the salon closed. I brought my laptop with me, which had a picture on it for reference. I started with that picture, but gave Cathy a lot of changes for the color and cut. I'm very picky and specific when it comes to using shears vs. razors, products in my hair to create a wet style or dry style, etc. I don't leave anything out! She was able to combine the original picture and my changes and comments to create the perfect color and cut for me! I couldn't get over it! I have been having a blast with my hair ever since, and I always look forward to my appointments with Cathy! I love talking to her, and there is never a dull moment! I have gotten countless comments on my haircut and color every since the big change, and everyone always wants to know who did it. I know my family and I will continue to go to Cathy for anything and everything that is HAIR!!
