The Scene
Everything here is made in France--including owner Blaise Bouchand, who will greet you with a pleasant "Bonjour" and offer top-notch, personalized service throughout your visit. Butter-yellow walls and soft, French music add to the "Summer in Provence" ambience of this exceptional boutique.
The Goods
The merchandise may be European, but this is no IKEA. An Yves Delorme queen-sized duvet cover will set you back anywhere from $189 to $469. Even an Angelina Rumpelmayer Le Chocolat bar is $7.50. But remember: You're buying fine, French goods without setting foot on the Champs-Elys?es. The store is also well-stocked with colorful linens and fabrics, tableware, crockery and gourmet foods. Treat yourself to thick, luxurious bath towels in fresh pastels; Terre E Provence earthenware for table and garden; and L'Occitane lavender bath salts. For the bar, pick up up corkscrews and bottle stoppers from the folks who know Burgundy and champagne better than most.
