A fine physician. I've been Dr. Gofman's patient for at least 20 years, and have great confidence in him. He is careful and conscientious, and doesn't hesitate to consult with his colleagues when presented with symptoms of a serious disorder. It's true that he isn't "chatty," nor is a what one might call "warm and fuzzy." He is all business, which is fine with me. And it's true that you may have to wait a few minutes beyond the appointed time. This may bother some people, but as far as I'm concerned, waiting a bit for someone who is top quality is not a high price to pay.

Don't go elsewhere. I had to make a quick eye appt, but was nervous when I read the other reviews here. I found Dr. Gofman and the staff friendly and had excellent service. I did not have to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room. Dr. Gofman was friendly from the start and he even contacted me after hours to set my mind at ease about something. Maybe tjend and nongmy got him on a bad day. My experience was the exact opposite. I had very good experience.

Go elsewhere!. I agree with "nongmy", Dr. Gofman was probably the worst experience I have had with an eye doctor or any doctor for that manner. First of all, my appointment was about 30 minutes late and when I finally got in, Dr. Gofman was about as friendly as a brick wall. He was bouncing between another patient apparently and was in and out. I felt like an annoyance and an interruption of his busy schedule. I left vowing never to return to him ever again!!!!

Look elsewhere!. I have never been to a doctor with such a horrible bed-side manner. From the moment we walked in, the receptionist was cold (although there are a few there, this may not apply to all of them). He didn't bother asking how I was or if I had any concerns. He just treated me as though I were an appointment he needed to get through with so he could move along with his day. There are other doctors out there and if you would like to be treated with some respect and have a doctor that actually cares about your questions and concerns, ask for another doctor (they have several at the clinic, but I think I will avoid this clinic in the future).
