Very good eye doctor. Dr. Richard Kenny was laid back, very friendly, very good at explaining and describing concepts and diagnosis about my eyes, very patient with my curious questions and suspicions, did a very thorough examination even to the point of trying to find the minutest odd things at my request, and gave me a very realistic estimate of my eye condition. It was an honest diagnosis. Basically I didn't need glasses I had 20:15 vision which was 25% better than average, however I was suspicious of a blip which we might still be investigating. I would not go to any other eye doctor. Would be pointless :).

Nice private practice in great location. Dr. Kenney is very nice, and I found him to be quite thorough. I felt comfortable communicating my concerns and intersts to him. He took me through the lengthy process of preparing for laser surgery and recovering from it. The rest of the office staff was very helpful as well. It is the kind of office that you stay with for the rest of your life!

User review by rotchg. I have been a patient of Dr Kenny's for over ten years. I have VSP insurance and typically have my eyes examined once a year. I think Dr Kenny is very thorough, respectful and easy to communicate with. He seems genuinely interested in the health of my eyes, as well as my overall health. I wear contacts as well as glasses, and I have always been happy with my prescriptions, and the care I recieved from Dr Kenny, as well as his excellant staff at BINYON FAMILY EYE CARE. They have always taken the time to make sure that my glasses are comfortable and answer any questions I have about my bill or insurance coverage. I am happy to give them a high recommendation!

VSP Provider. Exam was less than thorough. He did not dilate my eyes and his staff says he never does. He did not take my concerns seriously. The trial contact lenses I was given had expired two years prior. He thinks a tolerable wear time for contacts is 4-6 hours. He seemed more interested in selling glasses and contacts than in eye health. The optician was very helpful and caring, as were his staff. If you are a VSP patient, consider looking elsewhere.
