Solid Chinese takeout in Bellevue. A bit pricy for takeout, but pretty tasty Chinese takeout in Bellevue. Be sure to try: musho pork, pork fried rice, general tso's chicken, vegie egg foo young, walnut shrimp, garlic green beans...delicious!
Best Happy Hours. They have really really good happy hours, my fav is the salt&pepper pork chop. Very cheap and excellent service from the bartender. Their pork stuffing is awesome, nice and big and juicy. Fried chicken wings are sooooo good. I love this place for happy hours.
Best in Bellevue. The General Tso's chicken is excellent, the coconut prawns are superb, the fried rice is great and the egg fu yung is the best I've ever had. This is one of the two best Chinese restaurants that I've eaten in in the Seattle area and I've eaten in many. My wife and I both highly recomend it.
DISAPPOINTING. My husband and I tried this restaurant recently and we did not enjoy the food. It was obvious that the calamari was fried in old oil so it tasted very greasy. We ordered BBQ pork fried rice and what we got was essentially rice with soy sauce. Prawns in lobster sauce was extremely bland. Our meal was average at best and I would spend my money elsewhere.
Gooey Cantonese take-out. I've never been past the cash register, but I've eaten a lot of General Tso's chicken, their signature dish. What you have here is standard sweet, sticky Cantonese, and it's some of the richest around. The orange beef will make your fillings ache. If that's what you want, it's all pretty good. Stick to the sweet and sours and the General Tso's, and go with the shrimp toast for appetizers. I like the fried rice mixed with the General Tso's and the shrimp toast all cut up together into bite-size pieces in a big bowl. My heart doctor doesn't need to know that.
Good Pou pou. They had a good Pou pou platter that had something for everyone on it. Other than that, the food was average. The sauces were heavy and overpowered the taste of the individual meats and vegetables. The portions were smaller than other chinese fare in the area.
