I went there based on reviews in The Stranger and Seattle Weekly, it was pretty cool, fills your belly and your glass. The building was a nice to average strip mall bar, with happy hour specials that are pretty good for pricey Bellevue. I stayed for a couple hours on a friday and had great clam strips and cold beer, they have Hoegarden, Widmer Pils and others, pretty good selection for a 'dive' . Service was OK, not the hovering type of bartender, but attentive. The best thing was the cool people I met, Jen and Mark. Not often you have funny, frank, freaky conversations with people you just met.

My friends and I have been to the Goose so many times I can't even count. The persona there is always friendly and upbeat. The day time bartendar, although is many times so so very busy has always taken care of us. She's a very strong hard worker. We like to play pull tabs, and sometimes even win... ;-) Janelle is attentive and helpful..especially when the food is not as it should be... ;-/ Seems to happen more often lately than not.....but overall I would recommend this bar to anyone who just needs to relax and enjoy. The drinks are fabulous....never stingy....You should really try it out!!!
