Thanks for doing such a wonderful job with my wedding ring set! I love it, especially that you took the time to please a very picky customer and that you provided such excellent customer service and such well done work. Thanks! Highly recommended!
Smooth Talking Swindlers! Don't Believe A Word....
As the Steve Miller Band so eloquently said "Take the money and run", that is exactly what Dacels Jewelers has done to my family NUMEROUS times. Over the past few years we've purchased at least 20+ high end time pieces totaling an embarrassing amount . Each and every time there was an issue with any of the watches, all under this fantastic warranty David & Ryan sold us on. We were led to believe Dacels would take care of any issues NO MATTER WHAT, that was the falsest thing from the truth! What we got were excuses; blaming each specific watch manufacturer for their lack of support to Dacels, poor customer service & follow up from David and Ryan. The list went on and on. Dacels even went as far as claiming they would be dropping these lines due to the watch companies horrible fallacies and difficulty to work with! Hmmm who is difficult to work with?
When we purchased a brand new expensive Omega time piece in late 2009, within 3 months the date/time change piece popped out, I WAS TOLD I MISTREATED THE WATCH and was told "operator error" was NOT covered under warranty. After insisting that I know how to change the date, since I own several Omega's and don't abuse my items they begrudgingly sent it off to another Omega certified repair facility, because guess what THEY DO NOT DO ANY WARRANTY WORK ON SITE (very misleading when they are selling you on a huge purchase). I have no idea when/if they actually sent it into a facility but my watch took over 4 months to get fixed! Normally they said that they will provide a loaner watch, but they said since I had several it wasn't really a big deal. WRONG, provide me with a similar loaner to wear until mine is fixed.
We purchased an extremely expensive Raymond Weil two years and it's been broken for 1 1/2 years, spending almost a year at the Dacels showroom, never being repaired. We were told it was again, operator error and abuse. They said it needed a complete overhaul at our expense of $1,300. NO WAY..... Dacels had stated for almost a year that the watch manufacturer was horrible to deal with and no one would get back to them to have the watch covered under warranty. We just got off the phone with Raymond Weil's New York Manager, she stated that they do not have any history of a watch repair request or any kind of dialogue with Dacels regarding our timepiece. Dacels lied to us for almost a year, I believe it was to have us cough up $1,300. Raymond Wiel is now handling this directly with us.
Now, my OMEGA watch that was just serviced is broken again(it is just over a year old). It does not keep correct time and one of the metal roman numerals has just fallen off inside the watch case and is floating around. What to do? Take it to Dacels to be blamed again for mistreating it, spend at least 4 months waiting around? The quality of customer service is beyond incomprehensible once they receive your money. They've got enough money to just give the client a new watch and deal with the manufacturer direct, considering their brand new Bentleys, Ferrari, Range Rover and Porche C4S's parked outside their facility every day that add up to just under 1 million dollars! WTF?
There are so many places to buy quality timepieces but as consumers we want to support our local, small business owners. They PERSUADED us to purchase from them directly vs. other local and online retailers as they would support and honor warranties, if needed better than anyone else in the business. LIAR'S LIAR'S LIAR'S....
rude service. My girlfriend and I were looking for wedding bands, with an intent to purchase or custom make a piece. After a few minutes of trying on potential rings, he said "Well, thank you for coming ladies" and pretty much dismissed us. We walked out of there feeling like we were rushed and not welcome.
