Best breakfast in town!

This place is exactly what I was looking for! It's a classic old 60's restaurant, where the atmosphere lies in the people more than in the building. This place has a LOT of regulars. People are sipping their coffee and relaxing with the newspaper. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They've always had our orders right, even with some unusual instructions. And the food... oh so good! It's like my grandma's breakfasts! Fantastic chicken fried steak, amazing fresh biscuits and gravy, excellent hash browns (not too crunchy, but not soggy or too oily!), really tasty sausage, and so much more! We've never had more than a couple of minutes' wait. The place is clean and even while busy, it's not too loud.
I really need to try their non-breakfast menu, but their breakfasts are so darn good that I just haven't ordered anything else yet!
- Pros: Near freeway, easy parking, good service, excellent food
Good breakfast joint, amusing staff drama.

Located in Eastgate, this is a prime launching point when hopping onto I-90. Breakfast is tasty and affordable, and the hotcakes are huge. As a frequest visitor, every visit seems to involve wait staff with the 'tude of a Russian novel - grumpy, loopy, argumentative or in-fighting behaviors are abound - it's now turned into comic relief. If it's too crowded, slip into the bar at the rear.
- Pros: affordable, quality, location
- Cons: lines, staff drama
