I would rather eat a pile of Mc Ribs than eat at rooters free of charge

I live very close so I have been trying to give the place the benefit of the doubt. In the past 3 years, I have eaten here three times. Once I dined inside and twice I called in an order and picked up. I will never eat here again. The food is way over priced for what you get. I have never eaten such dry chicken and ribs in my life. BBQ are my favorite food. I have been to many places in the Puget Sound area trying to find the best BBQ ribs. I am 41 years old and in the past 20 plus years I have been to so many different BBQ places I can not count them all some were very good some were very bad. Rooters is by far the worst BBQ ribs and chicken I have ever eaten. I would rather eat a pile of Mc Ribs than eat at rooters free of charge and taste like over processed chucks of fat in BBQ sauce
- Pros: Nice Location and pleasant Building
- Cons: Food is way to Dry and over way over priced
The last word in BBQ.

If you are a barbeque nut like I am, then you have probably driven well over an hour out of the way to get your grub on at your favorite bbq joint. I know I have... and it was to Rooters in Lake Sawyer (Black Diamond area.) One bite of the brisket and you'll never again settle for 2nd rate 'que. I like all kind of bbq styles, but this is the best anywhere. I guarantee it. Please, if you LOVE good Q, map this place and make the pilgrimage. You're taste buds will thank you. And you'll thank the pitmaster.
- Pros: brisket, ribs, chickn, reasonable $$$, friendly staff
- Cons: it's in lake sawyer
BEST BBQ EVER

Rooters is without a doubt the BEST BBQ in the Puget Sound area, I've tried Dixies,Texas Smokehouse,Caveman ect. and they ALL fail to match Rooters....Rooters had a fire but they ARE
rebuilding and I'm going to be the first in line when they reopen.
- Pros: Great Food, Nice People
- Cons: Poor Parking
YUMMY!

Very Messy but well worth it. Excellent food & service, nice outdoor sitting large enough for the whole family. Don't pass up the baked beans very good. Large amounts of food (enough to take home for us single people who hate to cook) well worth the drive
Now This IS BBQ!

I've tried plenty of mediocre bbq in the Seattle area and this isn't it. I will agree, the service seems less than friendly, but the food and the prices are excellent. For $5.95 you get succulent smoked brisket on croissant-type bread with grilled onions, your choice of sauce (on the side as it should be with "real" bbq), two sides of your choice (with the best beans I've ever had!) and a bag of chips. Most places you get this mushy, stringy slop on a store-bought bun for the same price. Rooters is Tops!
- Pros: great brisket, great value
- Cons: way out of town, mediocre service
