Ryan, I'm sorry about your experience. After drivin' by for 13+ yrs, I'm a newcomer, since 3Jan2013 for the Fiesta Bowl. I hope you try Bert's again. Esp in this economy, value is important. It's 50-70% cheaper to drink at Bert's than, say, Mill Creek Town Center bars. Obviously, people come to a tavern to unwind, relax. Get silly. I'm like your wife. I make mistakes. Unrelated: I prefer a bus or the free shuttle (on Friday/Saturday nights, 11pm to 2am) w/in 5 mile radius; at times, cab. The crowd is super friendly. Welcoming. I'm happiest when I'm @Bert's.

I wouldn't Park there if I were you!!!. I've never enjoyed a trip to Bert's but recently I had to pickup my wife at 1AM because she had more drinks then she planned and chose to leave her car and have me get her. The car was towed and impounded from Bert's Parking Lot the following afternoon before we could return to get it. It was only left there for 14 hours. Apparently the spot my wife chose is for the espresso stand although there is no sign and the space is indistinguishable from the 30 or so other spaces surrounding it. SO BEWARE of having a few too many at Bert's because apparently they have a sweet deal with the local tow companies to drum up business or something. In no way was this car parked inappropriately. It was parked in between two white lines with no signs indicating the space was special, so it could happen to anyone. Thanks for the $400 impound fee Bert's. Thanks for nothing.

Editorial Review. Good times prevail at this neighborhood watering hole stocked with arcades, dart boards and a horseshoe pit. Live music Saturdays.
