FIRST & LAST!!!. We wanted to eat at the Beach Cafe for lunch. This place gets jam-packed during lunch so my wife and I decided to eat at the "empty" kitchen counter to avoid the wait and we were hungry. We ordered our food and waited. The counter is now full of hungry customers and got their orders in. While waiting some more, these customers started getting their food. Remember we sat on that counter first. Our waitress came up to the people sitting next to us and asked them how they're doing and never even acknowledged us instead she walked right passed us and I saw her kinda glanced at our empty counter table and had that rolling eye look saying like "OMG, where's their order?" and just kept walking by. She could've at least apologized for the longgggg wait and assured us that our order is on its way. Instead we could see our orders in the kitchen or at least I think those were our orders but they just sat there. Finally, I said if they pick up another order not for us again, we're leaving. Sure enough that's exactly what they did, so we got up, went to the front desk, told the lady who looked like the boss there what happened. After telling her, the waitress pointed to our order held by the cook and said "your order is right there" I was like "oh really?, after about an hour? after everybody on the counter is halfway done with their food?" The lady apologized, stopped me from leaving and wrote on a business card a rain check good for two for lunch on our next visit. I took it but wont use it. Anthony's is one of our favorite place to eat. We never had any problems with their service before in Seattle and Kirkland but that was the first and last experience I'll ever have at that lousy place in Edmonds.

Great food (especially the oysters), but SLOOOOOW service. I ordered the seared oysters, and it was Very good.

But the service was quite slow on 3/27/08.

Speed up please Anthony's. I'll be back regardless, love the view, and the food.

Just what you want from a local seafood chain: good fish and a great view.. In Short
Every HomePort is located near marinas on the water and feature sunset views through the oversized windows. Check out the fresh oysters from many locales, or salmon cooked in the ageless method passed on by coastal Indians: on alder planks, imparting wood flavor and aroma. Sunday brunch fare is served a la carte and accompanied by a platter of fruit and blueberry coffee cake.

Great place in Edmonds. The Beach cafe is a great place either after work or for a casual weekend dinner. The prices are reasonable and the food (especially the seafood) very good. The atmosphere is great, located on the waterfront in Edmonds with large windows facing the sound and Olympics. I recommend it either for a date or fantastic casual dining experience with friends. Two thumbs up here!!

PS. the rockfish tacos are the best
