Horrible Service. We took my father here for his 70th birthday. We sat for a half an hour before we were spoken to. I had to call someone over when my three year old was drinking out of a water glass and it broke in his mouth! The man that came over acted very put out, and did not apologize for the incident. When the waitress finally did come it was only because our entire table stared at her until she came. When she did she said, "what do you want?" There was no greeting. I said can we start with a drink order? She said, ''just tell me what you want." When we were finally served our food we had to ask for an extra place setting, more soup bowls, more tea cups, she gave us two for a table of five! My mom had to ask for a napkin, and the waitress yelled at my mother! At that point I said to my party if there is one more incident like that I am going to lose it. We had to ask for our rice about 20 minutes after the food finally came. The food was salty and not anything I would ever go back for. The table next to us left angry, and the table beyond that was getting up to get their own chopsticks, and a beer was spilled on their table. They were not happy either. The owner yelled at the waitress right by our table, and then he finally came over to say sorry he blamed it all on the lady, and it was not the kind of apology I would expect after putting up with such a horrible experience. It was my father's one and only 70th birthday celebration. We will never dine here again!

Really good Chinese food and atmosphere. This is my husband's favorite Chinese Restaurant. As mentioned before, the fresh flowers are a nice touch. The dress is casual, but it is a very nice atmosphere with pretty dishes, linen tablecloths, and napkins. They serve family style or in single entrees. We like to order the dinner for two+ option. We miss going here because we moved farther away, but we'll definitely be back someday.

Shinese you will come back for again and again. North China is a real delight. Nestled amidst strip mall regulars this restaurant offer great food,service and atmosphere. Fresh flowers on every table and back ground music that varies from Broadway to opera set the scene. The food is always good and once you try it you will return. The hot sour soup is particularly good. The service is wonderful. The daily lunch specials are a great buy. When my parents from the mid west come to visit they always want to know "When are we going to North China?".

Edmonds Favorite.... North China is a restaurant that my family and I have been going to for years. The fabulous hot and sour soup keeps us coming back time and time again. Small restaurant with pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff - great for family get-togethers or for first dates. Great food!
