Delicious!

Yamasan's atmosphere is a little "divey", but the staff is great. They are NOT located in Mill Creek, however as the last reviewer mentioned, they are located in Bothell proper in the Canyon Park area. The sushi is great and the tempura is very light and delicious. It tends to involve different vegetables from one day to the next: green beans, squash, carrots, plus shrimp, etc. Combo plates are reasonably priced. Be forewarned of the following 3 things: they are closed on Mondays; if you hit the place at the noon hour on any other day of the week, you are likely to have a farily long wait for a table; you will come out of there smelling like fried food as the ventilation is crummy.
- Pros: Great sushi, Pleasant staff
- Cons: Poor ventilation, Closed Mondays
Worth the trip!

Yamasan is tucked away in a small shopping area of Mill Creek, but it beats many of the Japanese restaraunts I have been to in Seattle! The service is very warm and friendly, though the restaraunt is very often crowded.
The chicken nanban is really addicting and the sushi is really really good. Occasionally they will have sushi specials too that are worth the visit.
Overall, it is expensive, like many finer sushi restaraunts, but I really felt that the experience was worth it.
- Pros: food, service, value
Best Sushi!

The sushi is probably the best in the Northshore area. For cooked dishes I would recommend any of the don buri dishes (rice bowls) - they are the best I've had outside of Japan. Get a table at the counter so you can watch them make the sushi. You won't be disappointed here!!
- Pros: Food, Service
- Cons: Very busy
