Chermak made our major remodel an enjoyable experience!. After a couple of years of shopping around for a contractor to help with our major kitchen remodel, we took the plunge and hired Chermak. They were not the cheapest bid but I sensed that we were doing the right thing. What a GREAT decision! As always, there were some unforeseen challenges with the remodel and I was so glad Joe and his staff were there to guide us and I do believe that we would have spent more money on mistakes we would have made doing it ourselves. We ended up remodeling almost our whole top floor and it's gorgeous! Joe was great about suggesting ways we could save money but gave great advice on what not to scrimp on too. A few months ago when there was a minor issue in the kitchen, within a hour of my phone call, the situation was resolved. My favorite thing is that they have their own electrician, carpenter and even decorator on staff. It was a seamless "one stop shopping" for our new home. Hire this company. It'll be a good choice.

"Top Notch-Exception to the rule General Contractor". I have worked with the Chermaks now several years and all I can say is Chermak Construction is truly your "exception to the rule general contractor"....

Helpful, honest, and most enjoyable people I have ever worked with!!! Quality construction, you name it.....you cannot ask or find better!!!!

I am proud to say I have now worked with the BEST!!!!

If you need any type of construction work done and you want a honest estimate and quality work, Chermak is for you!!

Chermak - a trusted contractor - 5 projects in 10 years. We have used Chermak Construction for five projects in ten years on two houses.

We've worked with a couple different Chermak salespeople and numerous carpenters and trades people.

Chermak does high quality work. They communicate well and treat their clients with respect. They can also deal gracefully with customers' changing requirements. Our family has been very satisfied with Chermak and recommend them to friends.

Their projects included:

-a deck and new French doors

-correcting builder problems with window installations

-rebuilding posts & beams (more builder problems) on a front porch.

-painting

-small kitchen remodel with built-in ovens, granite counter, book shelves & storage drawers.

Chermak Construction - Our "Go To" Company for Home Projects. We will soon be starting our fourth project with Chermak. We try to do most of our own repair/improvement projects but sometimes we need the expertise of a professional. We have been beyond happy with the quality of work Chermak has done around our home. From minor patch and paint to bathroom updating, they have been super responsive to our requests and seem to really care that we are happy with the results. The quality of their work has been exceptional and that is why we will continue to use them and recommend them.

Chermak Construction - A contractor you can trust. I have used this company for several home projects from replacing exterior light fixtures and remodeling to repair work from tree damage. On all projects they have been responsive and honest in their dealings. Chermak's employees are competent and pleasant to deal with. This is the first company I will call for future work.

Great customer service. Thanks for the fantastic service!! I called for fire damage and someone was out to my house within a day. The salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to work with my insurance company successfully and professionally. I was very impressed! Thanks again for a job well done. I will recommend you to everyone.

Collected final payment, Major contracted work not finished; Told Attorney General" They thought they were done.". Chermak seemed genuine at the start.

After the work was started work became sporatic. Very little of the provisions of the contract were followed.

Our front yard is still damaged were the dumpster was placed.

The lead carpenter was rude to my wife, who is in a wheelchair.

Mr. Chermak himself, yelled at us over the telephone, because our insurance agent wanted us moved from a hotel back into our house when work was not progressing.

Almost a year now, Chermak collected final payment and left thousands of dollars of contracted work

unfinished. Then told the attorney general " they thought they were done."

They told our mortgage company they would cash us out for work not done, when they collected the final payment.

I would steer clear of this company. I would not pay until work was finished entirely, We are still waiting the return of several thousands of dollars.
