Magic Nailhmmmm..... I have been to Magic Nails in Edmonds twice and have had the same experience both times. The first time I arrived without an appt and was told that they could take care of me easily and quickly. I waited 30 min with my feet in the water. The second time, I called ahead for an appt but had the same wait with my feet in the water. Too few workers for too many clients. I wish I could say that the pedicures were worth the wait but unfortunately both were messy - lots of paint on the cuticles.
great customer service!. I love this nail salon I have been going here a couple years, the ladies are so wonderful and kind!
Favorite Nails Place.
I have been getting acrylic nails at Magic Nails for a couple of years and find it to be the best nails place of all. Never kept waiting even if I call the same day for an appointment. My nail beds are very thin and great care is taken to prevent any pain or discomfort. My nails always look fabulous and last a very long time due to the diligent job done.
They recently remodeled and have numerous new pedicure chairs.
I recommend Magic Nails to anyone. They do a great job.

Awful..
I made an appointment in advance to have my legs waxed. On the day I was to have it done, I arrived at the scheduled time. One woman was getting a manicure with the only employee. There was one other girl answering the phones and cleaning tubs, who I discovered later, was the manicurist's high school daughter.
I waited about half an hour past my scheduled appointment time before the woman who actually worked there asked her daughter to take me back to the waxing room. The girl leaves to answer the phone, and a moment later hands me the phone to explain to her what the person wants, because she can't speak enough English to understand. The mother then tells the girl to start waxing my legs. She struggles to do so, all the while apologizing to me that she's not doing a good job, and that she isn't a professional. About half way through one leg, the mother comes in and takes over applying the wax while the daughter sticks the paper on and rips it off. I paid $45 for full legs, which was a good price, but as I'd never had a wax job before, I really didn't know what to expect. Apparently, "Full leg" included about 4 inches above my knees and only the fronts of my thighs. Between the two of them, I received an extremely patchy waxing job, in which a lot of hair remained behind, and many areas weren't even waxed at all. They seemed to be in a very big rush, even though I was the only customer in the salon at this point. I was very disappointed. At the end, she asked if I wanted a pedicure, and I agreed, hoping that would make me feel better. Again, very poor job. The woman who worked there did my pedicure, but it felt like a rush job, and she barely exfoliated my feet at all. Just a few quick swipes with the pumice sponge and she was painting my toes. In the end I spent $73 including tip for a bad wax job, so that I still have to shave my legs, and a smudged toe pedicure, which I would have been better satisfied doing myself at home. Don't go here.
