I have to tell ya that from the appetizer to the dessert . . . The whole meal was superb! We tried their BBQ pork, Sizzling Rice Soup, General Tso's Chicken, Cascade Chow Mein, and for dessert Icy Lichee. For us timing, quality, quantity, and price is just as important as ambience, and friendly service. Cascade Garden met every level with high ratings from us. Scrumptious, Savory . . . wow! Our experience was memorable and enjoyed . . . we'll keep going back.
Best General Tso's Chicken & Peking Duck....
I lived in Issaquah for 3 years before discovering this place! My parents were visiting and wanted some really good Chinese food so I brought them to Cascade Garden upon some recommendations from coworkers. My parents and I were so impressed (and they are hard to please when it comes to Chinese food!). I've been back countless times since and won't go anywhere else for Chinese food.
You've got to try their General Tso's Chicken and their Peking Duck.
The restaurant is tucked away in the corner of the Meadow's Shopping Center so I never noticed it but I'm so glad I did! My parents always want to eat there when they visit now.
I'm a harsh food critic and I LOVE this place.
I lived in San Francisco for several years and thought the Chinese food was pretty good. Then I moved to Seattle and tried Cascade Garden with some friends who live in Issaquah one night and was blown away by the tasty and fresh food. I've tried quite a few other restaurants in the Seattle area and haven't found a better place.
My favorite dishes are General Tso's Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Peking Duck, Lobster (I think you have to special order this), and Pineapple Fried Rice.
I also like how friendly the owners are - they are usually there and they make the place feel down to earth and welcoming.
Excellent Chinese Food!. Wow, the food was great. Someone recommended the potstickers so I got them. They wre huge and very filling! I had the pan friend noodles which were tasty but they are the really skinny noodles which I don't care for. Other than the noodle being too thin, the dish was very good. My husband had the kung pao chicken which was very flavorful. Service wasn't very good unless the owner was helping us. Oh - we had a problem with the shrimp - they were not deveined! VERY gross. They didn't do anything to comp us for this except for bring us new shrimps. That was disappointing. Oh, and they charge seperate for rice. Kind of a bummer but they have brown rice which I'll get next time for sure.
I miss this place!. I used to go here all the time when I worked out in Issaquah. I still crave their Schezuan chicken and make a trip out from Bothell once in a while. Yum!
GREAT FIND.
I am so glad that I found a good chinese restaurant on this side of the lake.
Since moving from Seattle a year ago, I have tried a number of chinese restaurants in Bellevue, Redmond, and Issaquah and this was by far the best. Good BBQ pork fried rice.
I keep trying everyone else's favorite... but I keep coming back to Cascade Garden. I've never had a bad meal here and the service is always great. Everyone always has their favorite Chinese restaurant and I've tried all of my friend's favorite places, but none of them have topped Cascade Garden for food, service or value. I have to order my food without MSG (they've NEVER forgotten) and this is one place you'd never know the difference. The food is full of flavor! I keep going back...
Unbelievable Taste and Service!!!. The food was delicious and the service was right on the money. Not too expensive and a wide variety of foods were available. Definately a choice Chinese restaurant in the Eastside of Seattle!!!
The only BEST Chinese in North West.
I have been here several times, and I'm telling you
it is the only GOOD CHINESE FOOD I've found in the area. I live in Seattle, and there is no Good Chinese in Seattle Trust me, this place is well worth
The drive, The chicken lettuce wraps. Orange beef.
Sesame chicken.Walnut shrimp.Sauteed string bean
Hong kong style chow mein.is fabulous, and so is their Hot and Sour soup. I will keep coming back every time I want "GOOD CHINESE FOOD"!!
Best General Tso's!. Their General Tso's chicken is the best, even without spice! Thats my favorite, but everything else I've tried there is great too. Definately have pot-stickers when you go.
