Ok so about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday evening, me and a group of friends(10) went out to celebrate my best friend's birthday, we were really in the mood for some tasty margaritas and Mexican food, as soon as we got into the bar we were greeted by a waitress who didn't even bother to smile at us, and to make matters worse she couldn't even speak or understand us very well we had to repeat the order for the drinks many times, and that was very frustrating,and she even dare to raise the voice high enough to look rude while trying to communicate, I mean, I understand that English is not your first language but hey , go to school, learn English if you are going to be taking orders for God sake, it took a long time for us to get our drinks and It seems like she was not happy with us there just staring at us with angry eyes or something, so we didn't enjoyed at all , We just decided to go celebrate somewhere where we felt welcome.BTW the server name in the receipt was Angelina.

• Pros: very strong margaritas, not too expensive.
• Cons: bad service, rude , slow

Partial taco shell?

My dad and I decided to go out to lunch and try Mazatlan in Kenmore since it was so close to the house. Lunch was ok up until dad started complaining about the second taco in his lunch, saying he didn't want to eat it (it appeared to have a broken shell). For a few minutes I kept telling him to pick up the broken half of the shell and eat his taco. I decicded I would help him by taking his fork, get it under the broken half of the sheel, and prompt him again to eat it. To my surprise there was no other half. It was purposefully staged to look right from the top with meat and lettuce placed on the plate with half a shell plced on top.

Who does this; cheap out on a 25 cent shell when I'm paying $7.99 for this lunch!

Strong Margs

The waitress assured me the large margarita wasn't very big. Out came a hefty size bowl of liquid gold. It’s tasty enough to have you going for seconds, but the second one will qualify you for drunk driving! I’m not complaining since I wasn’t driving. The GIANT appetizer sampler platter arrived hot and laden with wings, quesadillas, chimichangas, and more. It was a giant feast for 2. It might qualify as a appetizer plate if you had 4 to 6 people. The interior is beautifully painted with murals, the staff is friendly, and there’s ample seating to accommodate your entourage.

• Cons: the second margarita

Awesome Mexican in Kenmoore!

I love this joint, not to be obsessed with Mexican food, but this place is the bomb! They have authentic up the yin yang, and they have this awesome karaoke on Saturday nights!

just what you would expect

very standard chain style menu....warm chips and salsa was good...so was service....food was actually very good for the price....if i ever am in the area, i would go back.
