Great Food * Great Service. My husband and I moved to Sammamish about a year ago found August Moon and have been going back at least once a month or so since. The service and prices are unbeatable. To address the complaint below the family meal is the worst item on the menu.

Their other meals are fantastic. Its family owned and after you go in more than twice the staff is on a first name basis with you. You come in and they are excited you came back, they remember you.

Tired of walking into restaurants and getting the feeling your annoying the staff? You need to try this place!!

Simply put...AVOID...Dont do it!. OK I never write reviews on this sort of thing but I had too on this one. I just mioved to Sammamish and was looking for a great chinese take out place. I stopped by and ordered two entrees on the family dinner menu for two.

I have to say you can get better chinese at Safeway. Honestly this was as bad as it gets and I won't return. I love asian food in general and passed up the two teryaki places close by, what a mistake! And for the price? Give me a break. My order was 2 persons and it was $28.00, the Geberal Tso chicken was heavily breaded, soaked in grease and the Chicken with vegetables I ordered for my wife she wouldnt eat. I have seen better vegies in a garbage can. Im not sure why the other reviews are so high considering my experience. Literally I placed the order, waited for it and went home to eat...gross..THUMBS DOWN BIG TIME!

Good food + Good service + Good prices = Great value. Went in about a month ago after reading a couple reviews on the place. We had yet to go to a Chinese restaurant in the Issaquah area since we moved here a few months ago and decided to try for some that evening. As one other reviewer mentioned, the place seems a bit seedy on the outside, but don't let that fool you. It's actually clean and pleasant inside. Sure it's got the Chinese decor & color scheme, but in that sense it's kind of a quaint place. It wasn't very busy and we were seated promptly. They have a great dinner combo selection and our drinks and soups were served quickly. The appetizers and food that followed were good and the portions for the main dishes were quite large. Service was good and they checked on us regularly to make sure we were fine with drinks, rice, etc. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone out in this area & I know we'll be back.

Two Chop Sticks Up!. My family has eaten at the Golden Wok for as long as it's been open. Not only does the food taste great... our all-time faves are the wonton soup, sweet and sour chicken and the low mein... but the service is great. The family-run restaurant is friendly and attentive. They always know us by name and show us to our usual booth. The restaurant is quiet, so you don't have to yell either! Since I've been eating there longer than I was old enough to remember, the restaurant is a great place for kids, too! Once you eat there once, it will become a tradition in your family too! We frequent the Golden Wok at least twice a month!
