Great local hang out.

The Joker is a great place to go and hang out with friends, or make some new ones. The bar tenders are awsome, very nice and make a good drink. Also the food is good and they are efficent with producing both. It dose get very busy on the weekends, but its still a good atmosphere.

veri bright but fun except for sundays

I'd say this is a great place with a few caveats. It's too bright. The staff are very quick to throw people out. I've been to lots of bars all over seattle , esp pioneer square, and here if you say something wrong to the waitress/tender you're gone - forget about being way too drunk or whatever. There's one named Adrian who, despite her largesse, loves to loiter there on her days off picking fights She's a troll in every way just waiting for a fight to pick. I'm not sure why she's still in the service industry if you ask me.

Food is decent for a bar and drinks are great - 3 pool tables (coin) and all is good. Good music and even though I don't smoke there's a nice place in the back for smokers.

• Pros: great drinks, bartenders are nice
• Cons: waitresses are somewhat nasty
