47.676583 -122.208051PIta-ful, you haven't been there yet?. BUSYYYYYY! Always a good sign for any eatery! Little sidewalk seating accommodate diners during rare sunny days. Laden plates whizzed by with vibrant lively greens, cool sauces, and tasty meats. Greek fries? Fresh, crispy, delicate on the inside and sprinkled with herbs, spices, and grated feta cheese on top! Yum! Can't find a place to sit? Have the food to go and chow down by Moss Bay, a short stroll away.
Authentic Greek Fare. Having been to Greece and eating at multiple restaurants there, I know Santorinis is more than legit. I remember sitting at a table in Greece at one of the restaurants and thinking of how badly I wanted to have a gyro from Santorini's. Santorini's has perfected the art of Greek cooking, and the owner who has been there every time I have ever gone in, embodies Greek hospitality. Its a great place to eat. The gyros are filling, large, inexpensive, and the meat they use is VERY flavorful. They can be a little messy if you dont leave the wrapper somewhat in tact, but they also offer gyro plates that have a large portions so you can create your own or eat with a fork if you like. I live 45 minutes away now, and will still drive there just to have the great fare. This is a must try restaurant.
Terrific. Don't know how I have missed this little gem for all these years! Santorini's has a limited menu of gyros, salads and plates. Tried the Souvlaki salad today and was rewarded with a terrific Greek salad and a skewer of flavor filled beef! The salad was huge, all ingredients the freshest possible and the feta cheese delicious. Good prices, wonderful service...
Perfect Gyros delivered with a smile. What can you say about Santorini's other than they are great. The owner always looks at you as though you've met and the food is top notch and very inexpensive. Sometimes there is a line at lunch time, but worth the wait. Great food, great service, great people. Santorini's is a true Kirkland gem.
Great place for a quick meal.
After walking the downtown Kirkland art galleries, this is the perfect place to pick up a couple gyros and walk down to the waterfront to eat.
The food was great and tasty - besides the gyros they have a host of other delightful greek dishes!
Great gyros and salads!.
I've never had a bad meal at Santorini. The food is always great, and the service is always fantastic. Whenever I stop in, I grab a mountainous gyro plate with extra tzatziki sauce. I'm a card carrying meat eater, but that greek side salad totally dissapears before I start in on the gyros. That's not a reflection on their gyros, it's just that their salads are *that* good.
Top off wonderful food with their excellent, friendly service, and you have a great restaurant.
Best Gyro In Town. The gyro is definitely the best I've ever tasted. There are other excellent choices as well, such as the gyro plate, chicken/beef souvlaki plates and sandwiches, and lots of appetizers. The owner Stavros and his wife Elsa are super friendly and I try to go there at least twice a week, for lunch or dinner. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.
Be Careful!!--1 Taste and Your HOOKED!!!. If you like gyros, you'll LOVE this place. If don't like gyros, you'll still love this place. Everything on the menu is great! Make sure you try the 'gyro plate', it like straight lamb. The only bad thing, if any, is the family closes up and goes to Greece for Christmas until about mid Jan., and the wait for their return is just hell!! Your best bet is to stock up and freeze a couple of gryos.
