What People Are Saying About Jalisco Restaurant

In Short – Jalisco's six locations are a popular choice for the shirt-sleeve weekday lunch crowd. In the evenings, young margarita drinkers fill the place and the noise level rises. All the usual menu items are here--enchiladas, burritos, tacos, tostadas--plus a few not-so-usual items, including chicken en mole. Try any of the enchilada plates, the chile verde, or the delightful chicken taquitos sprinkled with Parmesan and garnished with guacamole.
An oasis amidst Kirkland's pricey eateries

Kirkland's great, but sometimes you don't want to be in lunch or dinner $25-50. Jalisco on Park Lane gives you all the ambiance of Kirkland's trendy little boulevard, including outdoor dining and people watching - without the high prices you find at the surrounding restaurants.
It's food is the standard (American) Mexican restaurant fare, similar to Azteca. It's not better or worse. I've found the service to be very good. If you want to kick it in Kirkland, but don't want to kick yourself when the check comes, check out Jalisco.
- Pros: Great location and outdoor dining
- Cons: Food that's good, but not great
Extremely disappointed in this location!

Jalisco's on Queen Anne Avenue is, and always has been, superb!! I was expecting the same thing at this Kirkland location. What a surprise to find the margaritas completely lacking in tequila; and we seemed to be bothering the waitress instead of being made to feel special. The food was "ok" but lacked flavor and eye appeal. And, I don't even want to mention the condition, and location, of the rest rooms!! I won't be going back to this particular Jalisco's.
- Pros: cute location
- Cons: parking, food, service, cleanliness
Good food

I was surprised to see that this is a chain. The dishes are nice, straight forward mexican-ish dishes. I think the food is actually a half step up from the more popular !Cactus that always draws a crowd next store, but it does lack the atmosphere. Still, if you grow tired of waiting for a table at Cactus, this place will still satisfy you Mexican fix.
- Pros: decent food and never a wait
- Cons: looks like a bit of a dive in comparison to Cactus next door
Basic Mexican food, bad margaritas
by zot79 at Citysearch
We gave Jalisco several tries, because we wanted to find a good Mexican place close to our new house. We usually order the basic enchiladas and tacos and these are tasty. The enchiladas are as slathered in cheese and sauce as any other California-style place. The tacos were OK. We decided the margaritas did not pass muster, they are relatively tasteless, so we will continue our search.
- Pros: Quick seating, reasonable service, average food
- Cons: Tasteless margaritas
Bad service, not good mexican food
by janinespond at Citysearch
Seating is self seating and the service is slow,
I ordered a tamale and got a meat wrapped in a flour tortilla smothered in sauce. I asked the waitress if this was indeed a corn tamale and she said it was. My date confirmed what I saw was a flour tortilla folded under the sauce, he tasted it and thought it was a flour tortilla and not corn tamale.
I expect the menu to be representative of traditional mexican fare.
She removed the dish (along with the silverware)
- Pros: nice ambiance,cozy
- Cons: Bad slow service
