Cafe Happygreat place. I go there peridically - very nice place. family style dish, can eat for daily life :)
Friendly and nice. Family-owned, tiny place, but it felt quite friendly. The food was reasonably priced (around $6-7), and was like home cooked, except as a reviewer on igougo said, there's rather heavy reliance on sauces. There is parking one block away so it's not bad.
The Best Vegetrain Food!!.
This place is the BEST!!~
The food is awsome!! you got to try it. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the beach. I think the food doesn't even taste like vegetrain. It taste like real meat. So.. for all the meat eaters, you should better try this and you will agreed to me. This is a great place to try Taiwanese food!!^^
Interesting food, lovely family.. This tiny little cafe has only one table, and with the counter space it seats like, 9 total, but it is so nice to find an authentic little family place like this. All the dishes had the same slightly gelatinous texture but don't be put off, the veggies are really fresh and everything we tried was delicious. Personally, I most enjoyed the fact that I was seeing the owner prepare the food and was served by the cook's daughter. Worth the drive from Seattle.
For Vegetarian.
I like vegetarian meat on this restauran.
Of cource you can less the fat. :)
Good food.
I really like the food there. The folks that own the place and work there are nice and make good food, but don't know english, so specific questions about the food or anything will probably yield little useful info. However, on the wall, they have pictures of the food, so few questions are needed.
All of the main dishes that I've had there have been very good. They also have a juicer there and I highly recommend trying fresh juice.
I did not really like the "shortbread" they offer there.
It's a tiny place. There's a table for 2 and counter space for about 5-6.
Best Place For Vege Lover. I discovered this place while I walked around downtown Kirkland couple years ago. Since then, I became a regular customer. This restaurant offers delicious Taiwanese vegetarian dishes with healthy ingredients and the owner always treats the customer well. Don't forget to try their Asian sandwitch. I love it and have it almost every weekend!
Enjoy the show!. The food here is fantastic and always an adventure, but we go as much for the fascinating show put on by the one-or two person staff who work their magic in the tiniest kitchen we've ever seen. Five people can be fed in 20 minutes, with only a wok, a rice cooker, a microwave, a couple refrigerators, and probably a hot plate here and there. Amazing. Love the fried rice, the spring rolls, and the pearl tea. Best part is, the entire menu is safe for vegetarians!
