I got here looking for their phone
number and wow, the hate! The food's OK. The lasagne is pretty good. It's a fun place to take a kid. It is certainly not fine dining, and it certainly isn't New
York pizza (nor is it Chicago unfortunately). I've found the service to be prompt and friendly but sloppy when it's busy: if there's a crowd, which there usually is, check your order, as something probably got forgotten.
to the individual below who wanted a quarter-pizza different than the rest, and wouldn't accept the answer of "no": Grow up.…
Seriously... Pretty BAD! Filthy Inside too!.
After moving into the area, we found this place to be one of the only places around. Had a couple of decent pizza's the first time around, but it has been completely down hill since. For the last
year, there has been something seriously wrong with every pizza we ordered. They are exteremely inconsistant. Last night I found a long curly black hair baked into the dough. That was it for me... enough is enough.
The last positive review, reads oddly alot like their website... Hmmm.
Don't wasted your time.…
Amazing food, great place to go. I have been going to New York Pizza (the artist formerly known as Piecora's) for over 7 years. It is a great family owned pizza joint and has authentic new york style pizza. The staff members are personable and friendly. They really seem to like their jobs (as you can see when they sing and air-guitar to classic rock music) which makes the atmosphere very unique. Overall, great food, great service and very kid friendly. Be sure to check out the arcade while your there, its super awesome.…
The worst!.
I gave them my business because as a kid, I enjoyed this place - either they've changed or thankfully, my tastes have refined!
The pie crust was thin with a texture like a wet paper plate & the outer crust was thick but overcooked, tough, too chewy with no flavor. The sauce was bland, I could only identify pureed tomatoes & a sprinkle of oregano & so wet that the cheese & toppings slipped off the soggy crust with every bite! Being overcooked, the toppings lost their savory flavor. Veggies & herbs shouldn't be burnt & crispy.
Quite expensive, added 5 non-meat toppings to a medium cheese pizza & it came out to $23! Each topping cost $1.80 - why does minced garlic cost the same to add as grilled chicken? Now I know why there was a need for their competitor to open another pizzeria walking distance away across the parking lot! I'll got there next time, wish I had this time!…
Old Pizza. The pizza was very bland. The staff would no accomidate my request to keep a small portion of the pizza plain cheese.
