When you visit this popular wine shop, you'll get both an education and a taste or two from folks who understand the art of wine. The owners--Kirkland Mayor Larry Springer and his wife Peggy Sweet--have been in the wine business for 15 years and know their grapes. Simply mention what's on the menu for your special occasion and they'll point you to the perfect bottle of vino, then pop the cork for a sample.

Amen!. GREAT little store! Larry and crew are wine-smart without being overbearing, understand and respect the value of carrying a GOOD variety of low-priced wines, carry the cream of the current vintage's selections, and keep prices reasonable. The wine bar is wonderful, comfortable, and companionable and the crowd is amiable and laid-back. Bravo! I hang at GC often and always have great times and wonderful wines.

Best of the vine in Kirkland. A great store, with a special ambience. They are very knowledgeable and always go the extra mile to provide personal service to their customers, both new and established.

Wine & Dogs. Comfortable, inviting environments help overcome the intimidation factor in learning about wine. A wine store with a Golden Retriever store mascot named Pinot is just the thing to make you feel welcome.

For the experienced, The Grape offers a variety and depth of selection, for the curious, Larry assists in matching your tastes with great wines you'll be happy you tried.

Great Resource. The Grape Choice is unique. Part wine shop, part wine bar, it is a great place to find just what you need for that special meal or party. Larry is very knowledgeable about his inventory. It's a pleasure to sit out on the deck on a summer evening and sip a glass of that special red you just bought.
