Nice work...Not so nice customer servicew. Today I decided to try a new nail salon because I'm not so pleased with the one I've just tried also here in Kirkland. I check out a few local places via customer reviews. I find Bayside and they are rated with 5 stars and what sounds like great times by numerous ladies exept one. I noticed they do not have the days nor hours in which they opperate posted so I call. They have an answering machine BUT again no mention of the opperating times and days, so I leave a message. I do get a call back when they open at 10am. I ask how the salon is right now and I'm told pretty slow so I say ok I'll be right over. I get lost because I'm new to the area and the same girl I spoke with just a few minutes before helps get me there. I get there and it's quiet. Two employees and no customers. I said Hi and that I just spoke to someone and that I rthink it was her. She says yes and while sitting nods her head for me to go sit down at the end. The woman that did my nail did not speak to me and she was most certainly rushing. I go to get out and relax not feel stressed as well as talk with adults and not just children. I did not feel pampered at all like others stated, there is no water or tea given out any more, so over all it was not a good experience for me. My nails came out ok. I hope people read this updated info about Bayside and steer clear unless your on a lunch break or do not enjoy light adult conversation or to feel pampered. They do have opi as their main product and do offer all the standard nail and skin treatments you can find almost anywhere. Oh and the powder they used for my fills burned the skin around my nails real bad. Good luck to you if you choose to go after reading this....BRAVE!!!

Bayside Nails and Spa. I have travelled extensively and I can tell you these are the best acrylic nails I have ever had. Emily is the best.

Bayside Nail Spa-Excellent Service, Love the Staff. Bayside Nail Spa (Formerly Jana Nails) is the best out there! I love the way how I get pampered there by the friendly and detailed oriented staffs. The prices are so reasonable and my polish stays on twice as long! Not to mention, they offer free bottled water and hot tea. Also the paraffin hot wax dips are worth a try. Love it!

In a word- Terrible!. While Jana might be the place for acyrlic nails, stay away if you have natural nails- they couldn't be less interested in your manicure. After their quick clip and file job, my nails were different lengths and crooked. They did a parafin wax, but didn't touch my cuticles before slapping on a coat of polish and telling me I was finished. When I asked them to at least file my nails to the same length and remove the polish from the skin around my nails, the gal said "no, you fine. " When I asked again to either have my nails fixed or a refund so I could have another shop fix them, Jana herself rushed over, grabbed my arm and said "we don't need customers like you, don't come back." Not exactly the way to win customers.

Terrific!. Jana Nail Salon is a place to go to be pampered. Waxing, manicures, pedicures, acrylics...they're all offered here. Jana is a gem. Her acrylic backfills for a professional looking French manicure are the best I've ever seen. The modern pedicure chairs are wonderful. Jana and Tina know their stuff. Professional, efficient and very reasonably priced. They also sterilize all instruments unlike many nail salons. Try this salon - you won't be disappointed!
