This facility and owner Reed proved their inability handle the delivery of a simple package via regular mail. (As it turns out you need to pay them more to ensure the package gets delivered).
If you want to ensure that your package is delivered or at lease held in accountable by responsible people, I would suggest another postal service or facility (Postal Express on 117th Place NE , US Postal Center, or UPS)
If youâ??re tucked away like this place is tucked away you can be around for 30 years regardless how many packages youâ??ve lost or the level of service you provide.
Great Service - 5 years. I used Pony Express, and simply stopped paying them for the PO Box. I felt guilty, and went back over a year later. They had kept my mail for me - unbelievable. I now live and work out of both Washington and California, and use Pony Express as my single mail service. My mail is forwarded to me, and they get what appears to be important to me overnight, and wait on the rest. They forward my packages. They are my contact address for the music CDs I produce. People can go there and say, "Send this to Tom," They do, and I'm paying the owner(s), not a big, faceless logo.
Friendly service, reasonably priced, and nice location.
If you live in Juanita area, the location is obviously nice.
I just opened a mailbox here and found the prices to be more than reasonable. Going with the annual plan it was much cheaper than USPS. I have sent packages here before also (UPS) and the price was exactly the same as when I shipped them from Redmond's UPS facility.
I'm a bit surprised to see some people comment that this store is shady. I personally have not experienced this. The owner is actually is actually quite friendly and down to earth. So far hasn't done anything that seems dishonest.
Great store, very helpful Reed is awesome. great to have a store in the neighborhood with customer service with a smile.
HIGHER PRICES ...EXTRA CHARGES AVOID. I took packages that were prepaid to them and they charged an extra $3 simply for handeling one that was oversized. The recepient had already paid the OS charge. I won't go back here. Their rates are higher as well. I used to use them but they have lost my business.
Over priced and a little dishonest.
Every year I mail packages back home with christmas presents. This year, I made a stop here for convience. I explicitly asked for the cheapest mail method however I ended up getting ripped off. I have no doubt that the packages were weighted correctly however they were extremely liberal on measuring the packages and ended up costing me about $100 more than it should have. The boxes even had their size printed on them, however I have the distinct impression that inches were added to boost the cost into a higher price bracket.
After getting my receipt I went to the UPS website to see if I was charged more than neccessary and using the same weight and dimensions that this store used I could have saved $75 by taking the packages to the UPS store around the corner.
I highly discorage this store. Its overpriced and very shady.
They also bring their dog into work with them, which would be fine if it didn't have a barking problem.
I have spent so much money at this place over the years on shipping when I could have saved myself a lot of expense by just using the US Postal Service.
Today, I brought in a UPS package. I asked for a small piece of tape. The guy told me that would be .50 cents. Really? For a small piece of tape?
Great customer service with a smile. It is wonderful to see a local indpendant owner with so many loyal customers. Reed and his team provide great customer service. A wide variety of services are offered.
