Tips for Ford Of Kirkland

December 11, 2012

If you are buying a Ford truck, do not purchase it from Ford of Kirkland. I purchased a 2012 Ford F150 FX4 from them at the beginning of August. I had some issues with the spare tire, and long story short it wasn't usable. I had not even paid for the truck yet! They told me it would be a few days before they could get me a tire, so I went ahead and paid for the truck, thinking I could trust them. It has now been over 4 months with no spare tire and they still wont give me a tire. That is long enough, I will go and purchase the $185 tire myself. Hopefully none of you elect to purchase a vehicle from them and get stuck dealing with a situation like this.

Besides that, I LOVE my truck.

My experience was the best, I am very happy, follow-up has been impresive too. I dealt with Cortez, he was knowledgible, worked with me relentlessly to find exactly what I wanted, never tiring or pressuring me. He has called me twice in the first week of my new purchase, just to see how I was doing and that I very much appreciate, since it is so rare.

Yuzo get's a 10 across the board in my book, he was excellent with his communication from start to finish and went out of his way to accommodate my busy schedule. I will be returning to the dealership for my 30k service and will refer my friends to your dealership thank you.

Being that I used to work in the car business I was leary of working with the "sleazy carsalesmen" that you frequently run into on the lots. Thankfully I had the opportunity to work with Greg Dale who made my first new car purchase as easy as possible. I came in and knew basically what I wanted and he was able to facilitate getting it for me. From the initial drive to financing to leaving the lot I was put at ease in regards to this expensive endeavour. I am hoping that the rest of my experiences with Ford of Kirkland are as easy as the initial car purchase!

We went in knowing what we wanted and had previously spoken number with Dan Lozott so avoid being at the dealership all day. Even though we hit a hiccup during the process and having to wait to sign our loan docs, it was a fun purchase for us to make. We will go back andwe will recommend Ford Hyundai of Kirkland

I enjoyed my experience with Ford of Kirkland. Todd Ireland was very helpful in finding a truck that I would enjoy and wouldn't give me problems later on down the road. He was relentless with finding the truck or with finding financing to fit my budget. He even came to talk and test drive during his non-scheduled shift. Thank you Todd, you won't be forgotten!

You drove off the lot...YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN PAL. Bait and switch attempt right out the gate.

Finally got the add deal.

When I came back within 2 weeks with a mysteriously split, no rock chip but split right up the middle, windshield I was treated rudely and told that I was on my own. I would be fine with this if there wasn't an obvious problem with either the glass or the installation, most likely it was installed with tension. The thing is if a rock that leaves no chip SHOULD cause a windshield to split half way up in one day then they have told me what they expect from Ford as a manufacturer as far as quality. If it shouldn't then it was installed wrong to begin with. If this is what owning a Ford is going to be like then I'm nervous.

I'm afraid to even BOTHER them with the shake in the transmission because I don't want to hear what I did to cause that in the first 1000 miles. Or ask why on the freeway on cruise control my mileage per gallon is lower than advertised.

Basically they started as shifty, then I met one honest guy( who won't last there) and bought a car, then they turned into jerks.

I was warned not to go there and now I'm telling you.

P.S. They heavily promote reviews with pleas for kind words ( I'm sure there are rewards to the salesmen). They want to stack the deck with good reviews. I would like to repeat that I dealt with probably the only decent salesman there, but after the sale the service department ruined even his good deeds.

I think Fords Presidents award must be for service efficiency (costing Ford less money)

New Truck. Ford of Kirkland provided a great experience in purchasing a new vehicle. Raleigh Fouch is extremely knowledgeable with all the options the vehicles have to offer. He provided reliable guidance with options when I was ordering a new F150 Truck. Raleigh made the entire process of ordering, purchasing and paper work an enjoyable experience. I am really happy with my new vehicle, thanks Ford of Kirkland.
