Traditional dishes and all -you-can-eat salad, soup and bread sticks are the draw at this upscale-casual Italian restaurant.. In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

Best Soup and Salad. While Olive Garden isn't the most authentic Italian restaurant my friends and I always like to go for their soup and salad lunch special. It?s incredibly inexpensive and they will bring you bowl after bowl until you can't stand the sight of soup anymore. Their buttery breadsticks are a personal favorite of mine as well.

Love the Olive Garden!. This is one of my favorite Olive Garden locations. The food is always good..the sevice is pretty good. I know it's a big chain restaurant and not the best italian food ever, but I still love it. I especially love their salad dressing and their breadsticks are the best. The tour of italy is good too!!

Excellent service and great food. We eat here every two or three weeks. I've eaten at other Olive Garden restaurants in the area but I like this one best because the staff are so pleasant and friendly. The food is always very good and new dishes are added to the menu on a regular basis. There is a good selection of wine and beer and several delicious desserts. We try to go either early or late though because it can get crowded.

Only one complaint about the Olive Garden. The only thing I dislike about the Olive Garden are the average guests. Corporate restaurants have the reputation for giving into customers who mistake the Olive Garden for Denny's or McDonalds. I understand the all you can eat salad and breadsticks drives them in in droves, but to complain about overcooked pasta? Or service not being fast enough? If the restaurant is good enough to fit your bill, it should be good enough for a higher rating than 0, don't you think? Denny's is located down the street, by the way.

Over Cooked Pasta, Always!. I've tried three times and if it weren't for the price and salad and breadsticks, I wouldn't consider letting my friends drag me there again. After all, they are friends and order stuf they apparently like.

I, on the other hand, think the fettucine sucks major big time. It is always over cooked...ushy. I order fettucine because it is the most difficult past to over cook, but they can do it each and every time. Once I aske for a replacement and it appeared within 2 minutes. Don't lie to me when you tell me it is cooked fresh for every order. I know my pasta!
