The Greatest Seafood South of the Canadian Border. We eat at the Red Lobster whenever we are in the area which is about 4-6 times a year. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is always very clean - including the washrooms. The biscuits are the best and always come piping hot. We have always found the food excellent. The last time we were looking for some different combinations as the menu always seems to be the same. One combination is shrimp cooked different ways but ends up as too much shrimp - little variety of seafood. We did enjoy the five course special and as always the whole lobster. The prices are definitely the best. The service was excellent. We will be back again in a couple of days. My mouth is watering already.....
We had a great time at Red Lobster!. We had a great time at Red Lobster! The service was terrific and the food was better. My continued to try the waitress, but I guess she pasted the test :)
Always Missing something. I love the maple chicken with rice pilaf and baked potato meal and my boyfriend and i order out from the restraunt in lynnwood when we don't have the energy to cook dinner. The food is always good but every time i order almost the same thing and they still always forget at least one thing. I am not the kind of person to complain if it happens once but we are on the 4th time in a row now. It's frustrating when i get home and realize something is missing again. Half the time we are eating dinner pretty late and they can't give me what they forgot becausem they already shut the kitchen down. I wish they would pay better attention to the orders. Also some of the employees could have better communication skills, they can be rude. I still like the food so we will still be ordering from them...
Something's Changing. I've been dining at this restaurant for a couple of years now. They've been pretty descent in the past couple years, I'm not sure what but recently they've really stepped up their game. The restaurant looks cleaner, I'm not wiping the crumbs off the seats and the floors look cleaner also. The staff seem friendlier, they look like they're all part of a team, they work together and you don't see alot of that now a days. The food! It was amazing, the server talked about their new wood fire grill and I ordered the lobster and shrimp and it was perfect. The lobster was succulent and the shrimp were perfect. I'm not sure what's changed, perhaps the quality of food, their cooks or what but the place seems to be going in the right direction! I'd recommend it to anyone who wants great seafood, great service at a great price.
Please offer. Red Lobster was such a disappointment. The shimp trio, while served impressively on a large platter, was a combination of smallish fried shrimp, small shrimp in butter, and just slightly bigger than bay shrimp with linguini. I think the best part of the meal was the linguini, which was creamy and had good flavor, tho again, clearly had sat for awhile, waiting to be served (the sauce had thickened on top). It looks like Red Lobster, in trying to keep prices reasonable, "shrimp-sized" the quality of their seafood. Remember also that this is a chain restaurant and has the rushed, no personality feel of one. We were in and out in 35 minutes on a Saturday night. I won't be back.
Casual crustacean-inspired chain serves up diet-defying seafood dishes in a family-friendly environment..
In Short
Live lobsters wriggle in a tank inside this seafood emporium, where nautical-patterned booths and colorful, fish-shaped tables in the bar area add subdued touches of whimsy to the room's classy dark wood accents. The menu can be downright decadent, with starters of artichoke lobster dip, seafood fondue, and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Entrees feature lighter, grilled fare like mahi-mahi and North Atlantic sea scallops, along with signature lobster dishes, snow crab legs, and jumbo fried shrimp platters.
Great food. Although we waited 45 minutes to be seated when the hostess said it would only be 20 minutes, it was well woth the wait. It's a bit pricey, but hey it's SEAFOOD you're paying for....i had the Ultimate Feast which included lobster tail, crab legs, and shrimp....it was REAL good too. Our server was okay but not the best.
How could you not like it?.
Okay, I've gone to Red Lobster SO many times, and it's by far one of my favorite seafood places. No, it's not trendy and you're probably not gonna run into some potential date there, but dang, if you want some good food...you gotta go. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing (but sometimes noisy).
The Cheddar Bay Biscuits served before the meal (instead of bread) are out of this world! And there's so much yummy seafood to choose from, and it's all so good!
The service has always been really great (no complaints at all), but if you go on a Friday or Saturday night, you'd better expect to wait for seating, as it can get really crowded (testament to how good it is).
