Amazing Selection, Helpful Staff. I was looking for a set of patio furniture for my backyard and was amazed at Rich's selection. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Michelle was so helpful and I ended up with the most beautiful set of wrought iron patio furniture. The custom color I chose matches perfectly with what I was trying to accomplish. Now I just need to get back there to order some cushions and my backyard project will be complete!
Beautiful Patio Furniture!. I went to Rich's to get some replacement cushions for my old set of outdoor furniture but instead ended up buying a complete new set of furniture and a gas barbecue for my husband. It's not that they didn't have a good selection of cushions it's just that their choices of outdoor furniture was too good to pass up. It was truly a great experience for me.
BBQ Central. I heard Rich's had a good selection of gas grills and boy was that an understatement! I've never seen so many grills in one place. At first I had sticker shock because the grills were a little higher priced than what I was used to seeing at Home Depot but the sales lady explained to me the differences in quality and performance and I ended getting a Broilmaster grill. It's a beast! I guess I bought into the old saying "you pay for what you get". I love my grill!
Poor Customer Service. Poor customer service. A little disorganized. I purchase a brand new Clearwater Spa from them and am having some serious issues with it. It's very hard to get them to answer the phone. Seems like they're always on the phone with another customer. So you leave a message and then just sit by the phone and wait for them to call back. When I setup an appointment with them (something like between 10AM & 1PM) no one showed. I called them up and apparently they told me wrong it was actually from 1PM-5PM. This communication happened the day of delivery and install as well. When the technician diagnosed the tub he said he installed something wrong and that he would fix it. At no time during any of this have I had an apology or follow up from them. I had a better experience with the car deal on my brand new car purchase. I am still trying to get these unresolved issues resolved on my tub. Not good when you purchased something for this much money.
So bad it makes a funny story!.
The worst service, they collected the total price when the stove was shipped (at end of October) but instead of scheduling an install (like the contract said) they decided not to because they weren't sure the stove was on the truck (sure enough to take the money!) had to deal with a very rude install scheduler. I was sensing some real incompetence so I called when the stove arrived at their warehouse and asked them to make sure it was the correct stove-they assured me it was. They came to install it and guess what-they had ordered the wrong stove! (why am I not surprised).They waited another 9 days before they ordered the right parts. They didn't want to expedite the install because they "didn't want to screw anybody" yet they had no problem screwing me. What a bunch of idiots!!
Ordered the stove in October of 2010, finally got the stove March 28th 2011, guess what, again the wrong stove!!! I told them they could use the replacement parts but their knuckleheaded manager said no I should wait for the right stove (this is already 5 months after they cashed my check) I explained to the idiots that they could use the parts, they did and the stove is now installed. I will never shop at Rich’s again and recommend to all my friends that they don’t, this must be family owned because there is no excuse in this job environment to have such incompetent employees.
