Average at best.. Fairly short course w/ some nice holes. Several holes w/ houses way too close to course. Obviously designed to maximize real estate developement w/ playability secondary. OK, but not worthy of same rating as Gold Mountain or Druids Glen.…
New Ownership and Management doing great. Since the city purchased the course and the new manager arrived the course has made dramatic improvements. The greens are unbelievably smooth and fast for winter greens are among the best in the city right now. The maintenance has improved on the course with potholes on the cart paths filled, sand added to uneven teeboxes to level them out and better quality sand in the traps. If you dont mind leaving your driver in the bag on a number of holes this course can be a great scoring opportunity and fun to play. Pace of play is usually pretty good here.…
fun course. This is a fun course but you have to watch out for the cat that steals golf ball. It is the funniest thing you will ever see.
Not bad. Some friendly staff members, but those are mostly the younger college/high school kids. Some of the older staff members need to be less cynical and a bit more pleasant. The course itself is very narrow, challenging, but upkeep just isn't there. Sometimes you can't tell where the fairway ends and the rough begins. The ground is pretty rocky, so wear comfortable shoes if walking.…
