Im not going back!!

Took my sick dog in, the vet felt her gut, took xrays, found nothing, or saw nothing and still decided she needed surgery asap. To the tune of $2600.00. Took longer working up the estimate than the exam. Decided to get a second opinion, was I glad I did. No surgery needed, just a sick gut. I actually had to consider putting my dog down, although i wouldn't have, but $2600.00 for an unneeded surgery is nuts! I called the clinic back a few days later, and to his credit the vet did return my call. He listened to my story, said he was sorry, and still did not offer to refund the $180.00 he charged me for an xray and exam.. no wonder you get one free exam. This place is out to make a buck thats for sure, I will not be going back..

Accommodating and Compassionate

This clinic gave me an appointment on short notice to see my very ill Maine Coon. Once there, we didn't wait very long, and Dr. Julie Brazeau was thorough in her exam and explanation of test results. A very sad and difficult situation was made a little easier by the efficiency and gentleness of the staff in this clinic, for which I am grateful.

Great Vet

After bad experiences with several other vets, I now take both my cats and dog to Covington VCA. The staff is great, and all three of the actual vets I've seen have been excellent. They explain everything well, are patient with my nervous dog, check-in after problems to make sure everything is going well, and always willing to answer any questions you have.

They may be a little more expensive than some other places, but it's not by much, and well worth an extra $10-$20 here or there to be able to feel comfortable and completely satisfied.
