Professional service with attention to detail

Marilu provided a full set of plans & specifications, along with multiple options for plant selection, customized to the soil & lighting conditions on our lot. She provided exact instructions on preparation and was available via email & phone to answer any questions. She optimizes plans to allow transplanting of existing plants while you're working through the yard, and takes into account that do-it-yourselfers need to work in shorter blocks of time over multiple weekends. Best of all, she keeps all plans on file so that, as you have questions in the future, she can look up & provide advice & suggestions. She's truly focused on the customer.

A Great Design with Excellent Follow-Up and Personal Service

Marilu was professional and courteous from our first encounter to the very last one. She did a fantastic design that was extremely detailed and created it based on our wants and needs. The work can be done in stages or all at once, whichever the homeowner desires. She also expertly trimmed our unruly Weeping Maple and it looks beautiful.

She checks in periodically to see if we have any questions or concerns and has said many times to call her any time.

We could not be happier. I would recommend her with no hesitation.

Not a kid friendly design

Our experience with Marilu was not what we had hoped. She was very rude and unresponsive to our needs (at least after the check was cashed). Four types of plants that were in our design turned out to be poisonous; the entire focus of our project was a kid friendly setting. Marilu just denied they were poisonous and for the most part shut down and was unwilling to help us come up with a solution. The nursery warned us about the plants, and I even researched them and found out what the nursery was warning us about. I was really disappointed that Marilu was unwilling to accept that some plants can be harmful to little kids. Marilu's strange attitude in the end was very unsettling.

• Cons: Terrible customer service after the sale; I think it's over priced for what you receive.
