Following the trend. You know I had other thoughts while I was reading these reviews...like this lady cant be that bad. Well she was not that great, that I can say for sure. I went to the shop Saturday afternoon 03/24/2012 and the gentleman working was AMAZING. Had lots of info and was just very helpful over all. We were looking at buying a board, but my son had some things to work out. I decided I wanted to buy the board from Mt.Si due to the encounter from Saturday. I called this morning and talked to a female. One can only assume it was the one from the other reviews. I had a question about prices, I was only trying to find out their retail price so I would know what the price would be after the % off. I mentioned that another store had it for a higher price and I was curious. Then she got all defensive about how this other store didnt play by the rules when they started up. Then she said she wasnt going to argue with me...see the trend folks. Needless to say...that OTHER STORE got my sale and will continue as they have been soooooo helpful. Yes their prices are a little higher...but CUSTOMER SERVICE say a lot about a place.…
Terrible Customer Service. Owner is rude and argumentative. I never received the promised email telling me when to pick up my son's rental gear; instead, I called and was to come in any time this week. Went in on Black Friday and the owner told me she needed the sales and couldn't fit my son. She blamed me for giving them the wrong email address and then proceeded to tell me that her assistant never told me to come in during this time. Will never do business here again.…
Poor customer care. I called to check on my daughters board rental. We were suppose to be able to pick it up in November and I was just wondering when we could pick it up. The owner answered the phone and our conversation started off friendly and normal. Than she asked me "are you getting a snowboard or skis because we ran out of skis a couple of weeks ago." This led me to think she may be thinking I'm just now initiating the rental. So I matter of factly and not in a rude manner said "We are getting a snowboard and have already paid and you should have all our paper work on file". She said back to me "there's no reason to be rude. You don't need to inform you have paid. I'm sure we have your paperwork". I apologized and told her I never meant to be rude and explained where I was coming from. She was nice to me after that but when I hung up I was thinking how rude she was to me and how I will not be going back there next year!…
Rudeness @ Mt Si. I called the shop to introduce myself as a rep for a few different snowboard brands. I immediately felt like I called someones personal home at dinner time and asked if they wanted to buy a magazine subscription. I speak to hundreds of shops each year and I'm always treated with respect because shops are usually flattered that you want to sell your products in their shop. However this women was extremely rude and it's hard to believe she runs a snowboard skate shop. If the respect and politeness of the shop owner matters to you then stay the hell away from this place. What a disappointment but hey there are other shops that would be happy to have your business.…
great brands!! poor ethics.. The shop is great for supporting the local boarding community. The only thing i cant get over is the fact the 'owner' (assuming she is the owner, she needs to grow up) has some nasty things to say about every other customer or coworker when she thinks no one can hear her. Gossip does not build repeat customers. As a customer i do not want to hear a negative opinions of customers or coworkers. Also, in position of leadership, one should not talk down to their employees the way she does. Yes, example is if they make a mistake she acts as if they do not exist, and says something negative about them to the closest person as an excuse. It makes me want to not support the joint due to personal ethics are at a higher standard than what has been exampled in this shop.…
