Ok on the outside, bad on the inside.

I made reservations to stay at the Edgewick Inn for four nights. I was looking for a reasonable place to stay closer to Snoqualmie than Seattle. The lobby and exterior were fine: clean, well maintained no frills. Just what we wanted since our point was to ski and snowboard rather than enjoy our accomodations. The room and even the hall ways were another matter. Despite a large red "no smoking" sign on the door, our room reeked of smoke. It appeared to me that the no smoking sign was an attempt to convince guests that the room was a no smoking room without doing the neccessary cleanup and painting to actualy make it a no smoking room. The bed sagged in the middle and the heat absolutely did not work. Ick! We complained to the owner manager who became quite aggressive and slightly scary so we quickly left. The only other accomodations we could find for the night were at the Salish Inn and Spa for about a zillion dollars but it was worth it.
The owner refused to refund our first night's $ saying she had turned away others to hold our reservation. We made a point to fill up our car at the gas station next door for the next four days and didn't ever see more than two or three cars in the parking lot. I don't think anyone was turned away.
On the positive side, if you like being screamed at in Korean, stay here.
- Cons: stinky, smoky, cold, maniac owner
