We love the Redmond Library. It is such an inexpensive activity for the kids, for one thing. (Although they are still getting used to the concept that you have to return library books, not keep them.) They have a nice, bright, open kids section with a HUGE selection of CD's. We picked up four Raffi CD's to try out. There are meeting rooms that you can reserve if you need them. The check-out is easy and the people who work at the library are friendly. It's more of a community gathering place than a stuffy old library. Parking can be a little tight as the library is quite popular, but I've found that on the weekends I can park in the courthouse parking lot or by the public safety building or senior center.

One of my favorite things about this library is their computers. I use the library a lot, various locations, but this one has their computers really separated, so you have a cubicle effect and can spread your work out and have privacy. Whoever designed this did a fabulous job. Plus they have a little snack area with drinks and food, really nice!

Recently my husband has discovered the Redmond Library, and we've been hooked ever since. They've made it really easy to request books via the Internet, which is convenient for us. You just get an email when the book is available, and you go pick it up. They even send email reminders when the book is due back. The library itself is easy to get to, with plenty of parking.
