The Scene – Surprisingly spacious, this simply decorated strip mall joint has a number of smaller tables around the edges with a giant 12-seater round table occupying the central place of honor. This table sets the tone for your meal--if the crowd is boisterous, expect an equally rowdy dining experience. Close to Microsoft's main campus, half the crowd is sporting official name tags at any given moment. – – The Food – Almost anything ordered from the "special" page is tearfully spicy. Knight Zhang's Beef is a rich stew piled with cabbage and shredded beef; the…

So what happened was we were in line for a table on Tuesday the 19th of August and there was one american group infront of us and they asked if there was a party of 2 when the table was for 3 people since it had 3 chairs and took in a chinese couple before us even though we were before them and then behind us was another chinese couple who talked to the waiter in chinese and she literally just cut us is line as the waiter seated her at a table!! i was shocked since we had been waiting for a half an hour and they take the people behind us!! And discrimination my gooodnesss. I would never go there again if my life depened on it due to all the disrimination I gottt!! So it's not like their food is extraordinarly amazing that you should suffer through this discrimination just for food! I mean for heavans sake your paying for it!rude staff!!!- Act like they didn't see you!
- Pros: Food is average!! yeaa
- Cons: Horrible service :/ baddd trust me

Sichuanese Cuisine has become a staple for my friends and I since we were introduced to it about 3 years ago, and we go as often as we can now. It's best to order family style and share with everyone, because there are so many fantastic dishes, each bringing their own incredible flavor. The standards for us are:
Hot Chicken (sichuan style) which is just spicy enough to not quite get you sweating, but brings plenty of flavor;
Mandarin Fish (one of the more 'americanized' dishes offered, but with a great flavor);
Sichuanese Boiled Fish, not for the faint of heart. Large chunks of white fish and cabbage smothered in chili oil, ground peppers and garlic. This over a bed of rice and you are good to go;
Dried Cook String beans, spicy green beans, always a fan favorite when we go;
Dried Cook Pork, discovered by accident when a fellow patron ordered it by accident has now become one of our favorite dishes. There are so many great dishes, but these are the most commonly requested when we go. We typically go with a group of 6 -8, but have had as many as 26 and have always been warmly accommodated. The service has always been top notch, with the owner and her son making sure that everyone is well taken care of. The great service and the amazing food keep us going back at least once a month, with some streaks of once a week in there over the last 3 years.
- Pros: Spicy food, personable service
- Cons: gets busy, helps to call ahead when possible
MY FAVORITE!!

I usually don't eat so spicy, but this food is definitely worth the pain. It is so delicious, fresh, tasty, and has a homemade feel. I'm not Chinese, and my family is often the only white table, but I would recommend it for anyone of course. The dumplings are a must, the garlic chicken, moo shu, kung pao, mandarin spicy chicken, eggplant, and special hot beef chow mien are some of my favorites. This is the kind of restaurant you become loyal to pretty quickly. It's become comfort food for us.The prices are very good for the large portions. The service is authentic also, in that they don't really check on you and you have to flag people down when you want something. I personally don't mind this, since I think the American custom of interrupting people when they are chewing is atrocious. And the food is worth it!!
