the hot and spicy can not be beat!.
OK, the basic teriyaki here is OK - but nobody comes here for the regular stuff. What really keeps people coming back is the best hot and spicy on the planet! The teriyaki sauce over the football shaped rice scoops is also tremendous - I don't know why they don't cook their regular teriyaki in that sauce, it might rival the hot and spicy if they did that.
Another plus - the salad is cool, crisp, fresh, and you get a good choice of salad dressings - not the typical mayonnaise on warm lettuce or cabbage that many teriyaki places serve.
The service is friendly, the prices cheap, but good luck finding a seat between 12 and 1 pm on weekdays - the Microsoft and Group Health crowds keep the place jumpin' Monday thru Friday.

If you like teriyaki.
I'm not a *huge* fan of teriyaki, but this place is cheap, and good, so it's ok by me. If you're big on teriyaki, as my friends are, you'll probably love it.
Place your order at the counter, wait a few minutes, and a plate of yummy teriyaki is winging its way toward one of the tables in the dining room with you. Very informal. Take out is probably popular, since the dining room isn't that comfortable (think unbalanced, cramped tables).
