The Vince's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria story begins in the most fascinating of all Italian cities, Naples. Enzo (Vince) Mottola & wife Ada were both grew up in the same neighborhood in the heart of Naples. After getting married, they moved to the US, settling in Seattle's Italian neighborhood in 1954. In Italy, Vince had worked at a famous catering company, & like many Neopolitans, had a passion for the food of his hometown. In 1957 Vince & Ada opened their 1st Italian restaurant with Vince manning the kitchen & Ada the tables. Their goals were simple: provide authentic Italian meals at a…

Awesome Family Italian Restaurant
by bhebdon at Citysearch
My family and I absolutely love this place. The pizzas and pastas are great for kids and the dinner entrees never miss the mark. If you like cream sauce type dishes you will love Vince's. The price is right and I have yet to leave there without a to-go box. It may not look like much from the outside, but Vince's is a winner on the inside.
- Pros: Consistently great dishes, great prices
Best italian place on the eastside

I can't even recall the first time i was taken to Vince's as i'm a third generation italian and my grandpa loved to take us to this place on birthdays and anni's , we all lapped it up!! I moved away from the area for a few years but as a adult i've returned many times now with my children , sharing the great pizza, pasta and soups i got to enjoy as a kid!
Wow, in my own back yard

We rediscovered Vince's recently. We have lived in the highlands for 33 years. Then, Vinces food was terrible. Their business was mostly take out pizza and their bar. The food wasn't worth the trouble. We were so pleasantly pleased with our visit of last week. The service was outstanding. The quality of the food made me go back two days later for lunch. The atmosphere is relaxing, outstanding food presentation and taste and the price was VERY affordable compared to the much overrated Armondos. We will return again and again.
The worst service and food ever had!

I cannot believe this place has rave reviews. The service we had was horrific, along with the food. The waitress spilled my wine with absolutely no apologies, she got my husband's salad dressing wrong entirely, she spilled both mine and my husband's soups with no apology, she gave us garlic bread instead of the garlic cheese bread we ordered, she brought us out cream puffs instead of the cannolis we ordered, meatballs were cold and tasted awful. The eggplant parm was nothing special. I notice pretty much everyone is raving about the pizza and nothing else. We were treated as an inconvenience. The booths were incredibly uncomfortable. I can't say anything good about this place.
- Pros: not a darn thing
- Cons: service, food quality
The Neighborhood Italian Restaurant from your Childhood
by jimadcock at Citysearch
A comfortable, old-fashioned neighborhood Italian Restaurant just like you went to as a kid -- no, wait, it IS the Italian Restaurant you went to as a kid! Food is great, kids love it. The wine by the glass is mediocre.
- Pros: Food and Kid Friendly
- Cons: Wine by the Glass
