yes, they do smoke a lot. but i have been using Vic's since 1996, then left the state, then came back - and they still do superb job. i used them for alignments only. they price at $40 an axle. they have historically been the best priced, to my knowledge. at the same time, they do not do "cheap" jobs. i live in Covington, and had my truck "aligned" by local LesSchwab. truck had steering wheel cocked to the left and serious right pull, very annoying. LS charged me $54 for front end alignment, car was returned with exactly the same problem. then i remembered Vic's, made appointment, Mike did free check up, informed me that i have a pair of Firestone tires under recall and that alignment is still not right. i replaced tires, it helped some, brought truck to Mike today - it left their shop tracking straight as an arrow. once again, i agree with the previous review - they do not have much sweet talking done, yes, they smoke, yes, they take only cash and checks ( i have no doubt it's based on experiences/costs), and there is no loaner car. but boy they do good job! i called Mike after the job was finished and i drove the truck for good bit, and told him that no one else will ever touch my cars but his shop.

Pros: very experienced and diligent crew

Cons: i'll take small cons, more of inconveninces, but have good job done

Had my 2006 Honda Accord repaired there. Car was in a t-bone accident. Damage to the right rear tire and knuckle. Car was not aligned correctly and steering wheel was misaligned. Originally brought to them for an alignment. Helped by Mike (I think the owner/Mgr) he explained the problem and estimated $800. Had the same work estimated at shop in Bellevue and their estimate was $1200. Went back to Mike at Vic's Renton Frame and he performed the agreed upon work on time and so far, 3 months later, the car rides like a dream. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone for alignment. Pros: Honest, low price, delivered on time Cons: No loaner cars, cash/check only, they smoked in my car while working on it.
