I like to go on the weekends because they serve soy milk soup. Get the chinese doughnut with it and some side pastries. The appetizer - cold, smoked fish is also very good. I'm not Chinese, but my friends who lived in China until they were out of high school go to Chiang's Gourmet (and the one on Lake City). They say it's pretty authentic. The other thing I love is that their Chinese menu is the same as their English. Unlike Yeas Wok in Newcastle. I can't go to Yea's Wok unless I go with someone who reads Kanji!

3 of us were there on a Saturday night. We are all chinese and we know good authentic chinese food and this came pretty close. It was however, packed and we waited almost 20 minutes for a table. Don't expect too much of a great *ambiance*. It is usually lacking in authentic chinese restaurants. The food is what sells.
Pros: Authentic food, large portions
Cons: Crowded
