Maplewood Golf Course - Extremely Slow. My experience in playing Maplewood is it is a decent course in terms of the condition, but for the price it is extremely slow play. You can play a 5 star course for $7 more!

We walked off 15 because we were slated to have played a 6 – 6 1/2 hour round, which for me is unacceptable. On top of that there was a group of eight (8) playing. Do you think this slowed down the pace? Other friends of ours had the same experience the same day.

Doubt we will be back!

They Have it All!. This is argubly one of the best courses in the area. The maintenance of the course is up to par (no pun intended), the availability of the double decked range and putting green affords golfers the chance to practice or warm up before playing the course, and the staff of teaching pros gives Maplewood an "A" rating in my book. There is one service they offer here CONSISTENTLY that other courses don't, and that's course marshalls. One day, I was paired up with a couple from Mukilteo. After chit chatting with one of them, she proudly admitted, "I come down here each year around Christmas time, just to shop in their pro shop! It is the best pro shop in the area because of its huge variety of gifts for golfers." I whole-heartedly agreed with her. If you haven't tried this course, do yourself a favor and call for a tee time. Their prices are competitive, if not better than some. Get out there and play!

Fast play...fair price. Easy to get on. Pace of play is good. Can be soggy at times. Call during the week to make sure leagues are not on.
