What started as a single grocery store in Idaho in 1915 now has more than 1,775 locations. The retail giant encompasses some of the biggest chains throughout the country, including Vons, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Genuardi's and Carrs. Each store offers limitless name-brand products and produce that range from dairy, meats and baked goods to personal care items, pet supplies and cookware. Depending on the location, customers can also enjoy convenient in-store pharmacies, coffee shops and restaurants.

Nice Staff. I enjoy patronizing any business that teaches their employees about customer service; that is foremost in any business. They will treat you like family here. Some products (gourmet) are not carried at Safeway stores, but I rarely need those items. This store is a big plus compared to their competition down the street (QFC). The only negative part is, Safeway allows solicitors to stand outside their stores. Some even hassle you if you don't buy from them. ARRGH! This could be Safeway's downfall overall, but I hope not.
